Hi ,
I had attended interivew on 2nd Feb at chennai. My employer has given me all the docuements but detailed project decription. VO asked for almost all the documents and finally asked for Project description.
I gave the Client letter which had the project description in brief, but the VO wasn't convinced and issued me a 221-G .In 221-g Vo has marked all the points under "From the Petioner' section and marked the section where it says to drop the documents in VFS office.Vo told me clearly not to drop the passport , first he asked me to drop only the documents.
I'm in the process of gettign the missing documents from my employer, meantime I have following questions, I appreciate , somebody could help answering them.
1. Do I need to print a new DS-156 & DS-157 from the VFs site or could submit the old ones.
2. What is my chance in getting the Visa, Can I have the hope?
3. If at all they issue me a Visa, how much wait time is expected?

Got 221(g) - White
Hi Everyone,
Thank you all for sharing your vaulable experiences.
I am resident of Karnataka but I have attended my interview in Mumbai on 24-Dec-2007 and got 221 (g) - White (redirected me to Chennai and asked me to attend the interview after 90+ days) as I was not the resident of Maharashtra.
Please let me know if I can go ahead n attend the interview at Chennai before 90 days.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

H1B Stamping in Mumbai
Folks,
Mine was a renewal.... I was totally nervous after reading about the PIMS...and passport delays...
I had my stamping this morning and VO granted the visa without much Qs, also got the passport the same day....
So guys n gals,,,, dont be tensed...have faith in God and have the confidence....

My first stamping was also in mumbai 3years back.. I posted the detailed experence, u may archive it Sep 23rd to Sep 26th 2005.

I got 221(g) blue form in chennai, asking for project detail, i have all other documents, while dropping the documents in VFS is the passport also to be included or no, please advise

i got a 221g form at mumbai consulate ,the vo said that the produced project description is not enough. he asked to submit complete description. I will submit the description tom itself. is there any chance of rejecting the visa stamping.

Reg Unemployment Wage Reports
I got 221(g) to submit the unemployment wage reports of last three quarters for EACH EMPLOYEE. My employeer has given me the report in just excel sheet format. There is no company letter head, no logo etc, the report is looking very simple. It includes only employee name, tax, salary paid, total salary of last three quarters. The whole unemployment wage report is good but only the report of each employee is very ordinary.
I dont know wethere the format is correct. If any of the people who can help me in this query is highly appreciated.

I got H1 visa after 3 months.. I had attended the interview on Nov2, 2007.. that day was too crowded 12 clock appt was taken interview at 5 PM.. I have been issued 221G blue form.. I walk out from there and informed to employer, they had given the entire doc which has asked in 221G, I have submitted the entire doc in VFS counter in B’lore with out PASSPORT on Nov28th…
I had waiting & waiting.. Finally I got courier from VFS on JAN30,2008, sent passport for visa stamping.. I have sent the Passport on the Same day.. on FEB 2nd I have received the Passport with visa stamp on PP. So guys don’t worry if you are waiting for the response.. if have given all docs genuine it should print visa…

Should we drop our Passport when submitting 221g related docs ?
Hi Friends, I got 221g in Dec and now i have all the required documents but i am not sure if i need to drop my passport along with the documents. VO had told me to drop all documents in the Drop box outside the consulate.

Help Required Regarding 221(g)
Today i got 221(g) for second time. I have submitted each and every document which i got from employeer(tax returns around 60 pages, unemployment wage reports for last three quarters, project description in full length). But unfortunately i got another blue form mentioning that "You have to provide unemployment wage reports for three quarters that
reflect wages paid to EACH EMPLOYEE. Please provide. This is our last request." They have return all my documents.
I dont know wether i have missed that document to submit or my employeer had not given me properly.
I have two queries to ask people who can help me.
1. There are two options available first is to go chennai personally on tuesday, wednesday, thrusday and second is to drop the documents through vfs. They have not marked on any of the options.
2. I dont wether i have to send the passport or not.There is nothing written on blue form.
Any of the people who got the same type of query then please help me.
