Thanks a lot to all for posting such valuable information. I got my H1B stamped at DELHI consulate on 30th of Aug.... It was a 2 mins interview and the questions were all very very general. So be confident, carry all documents and be cool while interview. Just remember this thing " Chances favour prepare mind ". H1B Visa Stamping at Mumbai Consulate
Hi Guys 'n' Gals,
I found this site profoundly helpful and intresting and very needy at the time of stamping.
I had my interview at Mumbai Consulate on 1st september.I reached there well before time so that i can bit relax and get into normal.As many ppl had said before repeadedly,you need to have a very high level confidence when you talk with them.Thats the most important thing.
When my Pink token was called on the counter,i went there straight and wished him gently.He smiled and started the interview.The conversation went on like this..
1) Sir,what are you going to do in US?
YYYY
2) Sir,Why do you wanna go to US?
YYYY
3) Where you will be going in US?
YYYY
4) How do you know abt this company and What they do?
YYYY
5) Who is the client for your company?
YYYY
6) In India,what you have been doing?

Thats all guys!,he smiled and wished me luck and told me that he is gonna issue me a visa and i will get my passport in couple of days/weeks depending upon the rush.To my surprise,i got my passport today morning!.

Doubt regarding NON-IT degree
Hi all,
I am a NON-IT Degree holder and will be going for stamping to chennai in oct 05. will there be any problem during stamping due to my degree. Out of NON-IT degrees are there any specific course(for e.g production, mechanical, chemical) etc which will create problems.

Got H1B after 221g
Hi
To most of the guys and gals who are worried of the form 221g refusal.well i went through the same due to lack of docs from my new company.
I got my docs but the interview was not a cake walk as a few published experiences.
It was tough convincing in my case cause it was not a usual IT job.
Lets get to the point
1. Be patient and calm'
2. Listen carefully at what is being asked
3.Answer as briefly as u can ( yes/no) they appreciate small conversations
4. Do not give any extra information and confirmations unless asked for.
5. Let them know the truth'
6. They may sound very rude at times but believe me they`ve been asked to verify each aspect of a future immigrant
7. Answer confidently looking in their eyes
Its only a casual interview and chances are more likely that one usually gets through

need help regarding h4 visa
hi friends!!
i am applying for h4 visa i stay in ahmedabad, my husband is in US and he is under advanced parole I-485 he has got the trvel permit.
i had applied for a visitor visa earlier which was refused.
now he has applied for H1 so that i can obtain H4 on that basis. but the problem i am getting very scared whether will i get the H4 or not.
Also i dont have an appointment date as of now i am waiting till my husband gets his H1 than only can i apply for an interview date. o want to know whther is there any way i can get an ealry date. i would be applying at mumbai.
and one more thing i am 2 months pregnant now so would it create any problem for me to obtain H4??
please anyone help me out, my husband is coming in end of november to attend his sisters wedding and we want to go together.
i would really appreciate your help.
