H1B, H4 Visa

Hi Guys ,

I have been for my H1 stamping last week to delhi consulate and got the same after a long & fruit ful wait of close to two hours in the morning , my interview lasted for about close to 30 to 45 seconds , he asked me regarding my new employer & my degree details , and asked me to show the petition copies which my new employer has filed and he said that my visa has been granted & approved.Be prepared with all the documents & be confident before the interview donot show that you are desperate in getting the visa.

For some candidates he was asking for all most all the documents , phots , blah blah and finally he rejected the visa for him.

Hi guys,

I have to apply for H4 visa in next month, I was told by some people to include birth certificate taken separetly from mandal revenue officer and others are telling no need to take a birth certificate only SSC or 10th class certificate will be consider for the age proof.

Now i got confused abut all these can any one help me with this. Also i dont have enough information on procedure of obtaing birth certficate.

I want to share my expereiences

I got 221(g) in dec 2004
asking to sumbmit some more evindenc
first time only 1) w2 forms they asked
I have taken them after 15 days

again they asked
1) w2 forms
2) all the employees list and desingnations and working areas
3)How many h1b my emploers is going to fill
for next 12 monts
4)and why some salry are low compared to set by law
5) clinet location where they are going to place you

3 rd time have shown all the above doucmentes
I got h1b approval for my visa

if your employer is genuine and all the documents and yor qualifications are genuine
then you can go confidentely and you will get stamped definately.

but be care full that they will do all enquires
while you go second time about your employers and your qualifiactions and education qualifications


one more sugguestion is in form 156 ,form 157(if none immigrant)make sure fully 100% error free

and check 10 times while you going what you filled or any questions miseed and some thing you need to fill none or null etc..this is must
because of this errors also many people are getting refusals for the firslt time when u go.

My H1B has recently approved and if anybody went for H1B visa stamping recently at Chennai, please help me ABOUT INTERVIEW QUESTIONS THEY ARE ASKING and please clarify that whether I need to provide documents like personal bank statement for the past 6 months,Kindly clarify my doubt.please mail me who attended recently,abt the number of photos,abt the experience documents provide.

I am patient and want to go to USA for treatment(surgery). I was interviewed on 16th december. After the interview the counceler gave me a letter and said we need some additional administrative processing. when we will finish it then we will contact you. If some body experieced such situation? how long it takes? what are the results and after fininishing what i will be required more?

I'm on a H1B Visa with "Company A" and plan to do a transfer to "Company B", meanwhile I wish to travel to my home country and get married and bring my husband on H-4. Is it legal to get a H-4 using the H1B with "Company A" or "Company B",

what are my other options. Please advise

i applied for H4 VISA but i got a query they said my salary is low and i become in public charges. so what is the minimum annual salary for H1B workers.

so could anybody help me how do i solve this problem.

Im trying to get a license for my wife who is on an H4 visa the DMV doesnt require a SSN and are asking for a 2nd proof of I.D. also they dont accept other countries documents.

Kindly advice...
