Hi,
I had my interview today (April 8th) ay Hyd consulate. Didn't ask any documents except for passport.
Questions asked,
1. Client NAme
2. Employer
3. Salary
4. Hight level of education
5. Did you go to school in US
6. How long have you been working for this employer
7. How did you get this job
Gave me a white slip (221g) with administrative processing checked.
I checked the status in one hour and it said, Administrative processing. Checked again in the evening and it says Refused. It's been not even 12 hours since the interview.
Anyone faced the same situation? and what would be my next step?

ME: yes(was in confusion) than intimidatingly NO, i used it for x company.
VO: How did you hire
ME: I got 2 rounds of interview and was direct hire.
VO: do you have your roles on offer letter
ME: yes, submitted
VO: approved
NOTE: 70% of H1B are getting white slip, be prepared. (plan to attend interview at least 3 week before you return to USA)

Admin Processing after H1 B Got Approved in Mumbai
March 27th - Submitted docs for H1 B renewal via dropbox.
March 29th - Case Created
April 1st - Admin processing, passport ready for pick up
April 2nd - Picked up passport with green slip to appear for in person interview
April 2nd - In person interview, visa approved.
Status still shows "Administrative Processing" after 2 business days. Any idea how long does it take for the status update/passport ready to be picked up?

Explained everything and she noted it down everything on a paper.
Later went to the same counter-15.
He asked why you got i797b(i mean y not comeplete approval) and the project iam working on and asked me for the documents, But i didnt carry any project description documents, then he given 221g white slip with second checkbox checked.
later after a week got a call from hyd consulate to submit project description, number of employees working on you location, and Any notice from uscis y u got i797 -B (why your extension of stay denied?).

submitted docs on - Feb 11th 2019
Satus shows still in Admin Processing.

Does this mean the visa will be approved in few days bcoz it’s been 2 months.

F1 to H1-B SEVIS Administrative Processing
I had my interview yesterday, April 2nd, in Delhi. Interview went smooth but in the end VO said there are some flags in SEVIS history and handed me a yellow slip stating 'SEVIS administrative processing'. I was asked if there was a semester gap or if I was ever out of status and I answered No. I was told these cases are common for F1 to H1-B and most of them are resolved in a couple of weeks.
