Hello all,
I had my H1B visa appointment on 03/07 12:00 PM at the chennai consulate.
Consular officer asked me to pass down old passport also when I handed him only new passport.
Then he asked me to pass him down I797 document and he asked me if YYYY is my employer and the questions subsequently followed.
Questions asked:
1) Are you gonna work at your employer location or client site?
I replied client site.
2) Who is your client?
3) Which location?
4) What is your annual salary?
5) Highest degree of education?
6) Are you married?
7) Do you have kids?
8) Do you know your rights in US?

I would recommend everyone to carry 10 CAD cash, just in case your photo is rejected there is a photo booth inside the Ottawa consulate.
The document collection, fingerprinting and the interview took about 2 hours.
Questions asked:

5) Describe your day to day job duties?
6) Salary per annum
6) Countries have you visited in last 5 years?
7) Are you married?
8) How many kids?

Status changed from 'AP' to 'Issued' on 03/05 morning
Received email about the passport tracking within an hour.

H1B stamping, Toronto Canada
Hello all, I am a physician in the US and I recently went to the H1B stamping in Toronto, Canada, overall its a smooth process, interview went well. The passport delivery was delayed for one day. When compared to vancover and other places I believe there is a slight delay in the passport delivery process due to the volume of applicants, I went to the visa interview on 2/27/19 and the website said the visa was issued on 3/1 and was assigned a courier tracking no on 3/4 (due to the weekend), I picked up the passport on 3/5.

Passport pickup
I selected my passport pickup location as below .

A Wing, G Block, Bandrakurla Complex Bandra East
Mumbai - 400051
As per the instructions I can collect my passport within 14 days from 11 VAC and 7 days from Blue dart locations. Does above location come under VAC or blue dart?

Passport pickup from Mumbai VAC
I chose my passport pickup location as Mumbai VAC. as per this http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-loc-passportcollection.asp#collectiondocs I can pickup within 14 days once its ready.
Can I go to Mumbai VAC at any time during their working hours or do I need to have appointment schedule? also I just need to carry government issued photo ID right?

H1B Transfer after I94 experied
H1B & I-94 expired in August 2018(Company A is holding my H1B and i am working with Client A)
Company A applied for my H1B extension before my I-94 got expired in normal process (August 2018)
I got receipt for extension and worked with Client A for 4 months i.e with Client 1 on receipt
January 2019, i transferred my H1b to Company B and working with Client B (here i changed company i.e h1B transfer and different client)
I was already on receipt with Company A for 4 months
2months with Company B
So how long i can stay on receipt with Company B and working with Client B in USA
240 days rule will continue from company A or new 240 day rule starts with new company i.e Company B ?
Company A withdrawn my Extension after i got receipt for transfer from Company B
please give me answer

Received 221g Green slip, visa under administrative processing after 4 weeks
I went to Chennai consulate on Feb 4th for my H1B visa stamping interview. I had been working in US for last 4 years. VO gave me a 221g green slip and told me my visa is under administrative processing. I am still waiting to hear from them.
I am trying to figure out how long should I wait and if there is a course of action for me.
My B1 visa is still valid till August 2021. Can I travel back to US on this B1 visa and come back to Chennai once my H1B is approved?
Any help is appreciated,
