Hello,
I have been in US since 2007 and switched jobs in Feb 2017, hence thought this is not my first H1-B Stamping, this is my first H1-B Stamping with the current employer.
I had my biometrics on Jan 17, 2019 at VAC Mumbai and my H1-B Visa Interview on Jan 22, 2019 at Mumbai Consulate.
The Visa Officer asked a few basic questions, kept my passport and said the Visa will be issued in a few days. It has been more than two weeks now and I haven't yet received my passport back though.
When I checked the Visa Application Status Online it says "Administrative Processing" with the last update on Feb 1, 2019. When I try to track my Passport Status Online, until yesterday (Wed Feb 6, 2019) morning it showed "Passport is still with Embassy/Consulate", however since last evening it says "No status update available for this passport".
Now I am really worried since it has been more than two weeks since the Visa Interview, and the Passport Tracking also does not show where my passport is.
Anyone with a similar experience? Is there is a way to check the status with the Mumbai Consulate?
I tried calling the US Travel Docs Customer Care, the automated message asks for a UID - what is a UID?
Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Had my H1B & H4 VISA interview @ Chennai with my wife & son on Nov 30 2018 & got it approved.
I had stamping in Chennai 3 times and this time they asked a lot of questions.

H1 visa approved on 25th Jan 2019 - Delhi
Hi All,
I had my H1 visa interview for the first time on 25th Feb - Delhi location.
VO asked me few questions:
VO: Can you show me your i797A form?
Me: handed over.
VO: what is your company's name?
Me: YYYY (told)
VO: What is your designation?
Me: YYYY (told)
VO: What is the product of your company?
Me: It's not a product based company. Our revenue is tolls.
VO: I didn't get you, what your company do?
Me: We build bridges and express lanes.
VO: Actual bridges/highways?
Me: Yes
VO: Is there a website of your company?
Me: We have parent company's website, and our project is listed on that website.
(she checked something on the computer and wrote a yellow note on my passport)
VO: Your visa is approved.
Me: Thank you.
After I left from the counselor officer, they called me in again. I went inside, did my security again and went to the same counter. And
VO said : Sorry to call you in again, I need a copy of your i797A form.
Me: handed over.
VO: don't worry your visa is still approved, you will receive your passport in 3-4 days.
Me. Thank you, ma'am.
Left from the office finally.
I received my passport at my place in Mumbai through currier on 5th business day.
Note: VO next to me asked someone for LCA, i129 approval form as well.

H1B Stamping New Delhi Admin Processing
Hi All,
Need Advice and help on my case. Interviewed on Jan 31st at Delhi consulated. VO asked 2 questions and said my visa is approved. Today is the 3rd business day and the case is under Admin Processing.
Kindly share what to expect this point forward, this is my first stamping experience.

Passport submission post 221g client verification
Hello,
I had my interview on 17th Jan in Chennai and was issued a 221G blue slip with no documents asked. VO also returned my passport and a week later, my client received a verification call requesting few documents which they submitted the same day. I have received an email today asking to submit my passport. Can I submit my passport at Hyderabad consulate even though my interview was in Chennai?

H1 & H4 visa stamping delay
I went for an interview on 1/17/19 for H1 with my wife on H4.
Visa was approved for both, I received my passport in 4-5 days but my wife on H4 hasn't received her passport yet, online and calling ustraveldocs says the administrative process
is there anyone who had a similar experience?
