Salary - LCA or Paystub?
Hi,
I have been seeing very different answers to the question. What if the salary mentioned in LCA is lower that that actually paid. One of the common answer is that salary in LCA is the minimum that needs to be paid for the said role. So if ever the question arises as to why there is a difference in what the amount in the LCA and what you are paid, then the answer should be, my paystub includes bonus and performance based pay. Is that correct ?
Anyone who has had experience with this (Who are getting paid more than what is mentioned in LCA) please tell me what your answer was.

suggestions on drop box and whether to travel please
hi all
me and my wife are planning to travel in Feb and both are in H1b, and eligible for drop box stamping.
both are full time with indian mnc and are in level 3 and level 2 wage respectively. had one time h1b rejection in the past for my wife.
is it advisable to travel now, with hearing lot of 221g. with both of us needing to be get stamped, is there a high possibility for delay. please advise on your experience so we can plan better.

Dropbox application submission. New Delhi. Jan 2nd
CEAC website says Administrative Processing
USTRAVELDOCS website says "Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery"
Spoke with helpline, they are saying passport already with Blue Dart for delivery.
Can someone provide some info on what this could mean? I'm guessing interview call when the passport arrives with a slip included?

H1/H4 renewal dropbox and admin processing
I submitted our passports for H1b renewal in Cochin VFS dropbox location
4 jan 18 - passports submitted
11 jan 18 - passports still with US embassy/consulate
when checked in CEAC website, it says admin processing for me wife. But for my daughter it says visa issued. I am confused. Have not received any mail or call yet.
Anyone have similar experices, please share.

I had interview on 10/10.
-2nd H1b stamping
- 11/9 employer got call from NIV for employment verification
-11/28 site visit
-have the senator emailed to consulate, got email "In accordance with U.S. law and Department of State guidelines, action on her case has been suspended under section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), as amended. The I-129 Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker filed on her behalf will be returned to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) with a memorandum explaining the facts of her case as presented to us at the time of her interview."
Any one have similar experiences or scusseful example, PLEASE to share.

Dropbox Delay

I had submitted my dropbox application on Jan 2, 2018. It went into Admin Processing on Jan 4, 2018. I haven't yet received any update or replies from the consulate.
Any help is appreciated ? Is anyone in this situation ?
