In my DS-160 I mentioned violation of status: Consular officer asked what was it, how many years violation?
Why did it take so long to realize about violation?
Which law firm?
Was it applied that way or did USCIS approved it that way?
Your VISA has been approved :-)

H1b hyd stamping
hello all,
I had my stamping for h1b renewal on Dec 22nd. interview was short. VO asked just 4 questions like direct hire or contract, salary, highest degree and place. then said your visa is issued.
i got my passport with stamp by 28th.
However my wife went for her h4 stamping on 29th. Her h4 got 221g white slip. no documents asked. So currently waiting for hers

Hi All,
This is rather a question to all of you than an experience. During my interview I had a slip of tongue when I was asked about my place of residence but immediately corrected it. My case anyhow went to TAL but I just wanted to know if my slip of tongue can negatively impact my case. I answered all the other questions correctly and with confidence and I also work for a big reputed company. Request you to please share your views on this.

Passport got returned with 221(g) asking to appear for interview - December 27
Appeared for interview - January 2, 2018
VO asked basic questions.
Gave me another 221(g) asking for documents via email in pdf format. Yet to send that email
Very stressed, I am in USA since 2008 with approved I140.
No clue what is triggering this...
Anyone in the same situation? Has had similar experience? Please advice.
