Hi,
Here are the details of my interview
Biometrics: Dec 14-Chennai
Interview: Dec 15-Chennai
Consulate Officer asked a few questions on my soupse's employment(he has always been a direct employee after his graduation)
Officer: Visa is approved, but there's some technical delay.
He handed me a blue slip 221g.
Visa tracker still shows administrative processing.
Is anyone else in the same situation?

H1 Visa -- dropbox hyderbad consulate
Nov 24th -- submitted documents at VFS Hyderbad
Nov 29th -- got email to come for Finger print verification
Dec 11th -- Went to Consulate for Fingerprinting (Verified FingerPrints)
Dec 19th -- Issued
Waiting for passport

Visa status changed to issued after 12 days in AP
Hi Members,
An other encouraging case to the members awaiting for Visa in this forum after consular Officer said visa approved.
Date of Visa interview (H1 and H4) - Dec 7th
Wife on H4 received her passport - Dec 11th
My visa status on H1 - AP since Dec 7th till today few mins back.
Visa status changed to issued - Dec 19 just now .
Passport status still shows - it’s with embassy. Hopefully willl get in 2 days.
So it’s just a matter of time 2 to 3 weeks for status change to issued, if visa officer said it’s approved.
Also I just sent an email to support team asking them that there is no visa update since interview date and if the case has been really touched or it’s in process.
After that visa status shown as issued. Not sure if this email to support has any effect or not. May be it’s a coincidence.
I think it’s better to send pointed questions to support than brief description.

H1B stamping Hyderabad Admin processing
Hi everyone,
I had my fingerprints on 13 December and visa interview on 14 December.
This is my first h1 interview and the VO asked basic questions and gave me a 221g white slip with case number on it. Below are the questions she asked:
1) Are you a full-time employee or a consultant?
2) What is your base pay?
3)Did you do masters in US?
4) Where do you live in US?
I was tracking the case and below is the only update I see

Case updated 14 December 2017
It still doesn't make any sense foe me to have a case created date a day earlier than my biometrics date. Keeping fingers crossed. Please do post your experiences and updates guys.It will greatly help.

Interview time 11AM. I reached there around 10:30.
Tip: Try to be there 10 mins before. No need to go and stand in the line for long time for no reason.

Still in AP
My visa interview was on Nov 30. Simple interview with basic questions. No 221g was given. VO said visa is approved and you will get passport in a week. Till date there is no update. Passport status shows ‘ There is no update on passport number submitted’. I cancelled my return ticket already . It was my first H1 stamping. Anyone with similar experience. I am very nervous and stressed.!

Lasted about a minute. Was told need a week for admin processing and was handed a blue slip with the 3rd option checked ( admin processing and no documents required)!
