Dear Friends i attend the interview at chennai on jan 20th.they issued me 221(g) and she marked in that Application processing information.
so how it means how many days it takes ..
in that it menationed that mu application will send to uscis fo further review,upon completion of review they will contract my employer and gwet back to me .

I got my H1B visa here is my experience
Dear All,
I attended to the H1B visa at Chennai consulate.
Required documents :
1. I797 - original
2. Passport - Origrnal
3. HDFC receipt - original
4. I129 - Certified copy
5. LCA - Labor Condition Application - Certified copy
6. Resume
7. DS156 and DS157 - those u have taken print out from VFS site
8. US embassy appointment letter - From VFS site
9. All of your education original certificates - Originals
10. Your experience certificates of the previous company and current employer. - Original
and my US employer has sent me a bunch of documents those are related to his company status and all..
So first i entered in the US consulate there you will find a counters those people will re arrange your documents in proper way and they will take your finger prints. Once after that they will tel you to go to the embassy main office.
they have asked me very few questions like
1. What is ur US employer do
Tel them that they were on which technology
2. On what technology you are working in india.
Tel them that you are also working on the same technology on which ur US employer is working
3. You did ur post graduate in YYYY ?
Say Yes
4. What are the clients your US company have??
Say 2-3 clients that ur US employer has
5. Finally she asked me is that a big company or a small one.
i told its a small one....(because its a very small one)
then she told that i am giving u the visa u will get it to ur address with in 4 days.

First thing is that Thanks for the all the guys who posted their experiences on Immihelp.com...my H1-B interview was done on 16th jan 2009...its very simple, but it's very long for me because she[VO] required all my project details in brief manner.
Here is how my interview went.
VO: Wait for a moment
ME: sorry
VO: I said wait for a moment
ME: ohhhh!!! sure
then it started after 5min. waiting time......
VO: What is your qualification?
ME: explained
VO: What will be your US project?
ME: explained
VO: Tell me about your US project in more details.
ME: explained
then she has started something to check in her PC & after five minutes the golden words came:
VO: Your visa is granted, thank you....
ME: Have a great day ahead.........
It was a great experience to attend the interview for US at Chennai consulate.
Carry all documents that you cant even think of, such as list of all employees hired by petitioner, I cant even imagine that they can request for such document.
So do carry everything and even if u dont then no worries because u'll get Visa later via dropping all docs at VFS :-) So Good Luck to Everyone!!!!!!

Visa after 221(g) AAP Blue form..221(g) is only a part of the visa

First of all my heartful Thanks for this wonderful website for providing the opportunity of sharing all our experiences which is really helpful in hard times & gives us boosting.
I got my visa on 12th of Jan after 221(g) AAP(additional administrative processing) blue form verification finish,My visa process went like this.
1)I attended my H1 B Visa on 6th Of Dec,issued 221(g) blue form after taking my client agreement letter between my emp & client,At this time only you all will come to know the actual value of this site which will give you the energy & Confidence.
2)On Jan 5th exactly after one month i got a courier from VFS Chennai office to submit my passport along with DS156/DS157 forms.
3) i got my passport with visa stamped on Jan 12th.
Guys,My advise is be patient once 221 (g)issued to you,Dont worry unless & until you are genuine with your documents & your employer,It might print visa but time varies(takes 2 to 6 months also) from case to case as many people already mentioned..Its 100% correct. Contact me with any kind of questions...All the best 4 u all!!!

Officer returned the passport

I attended the interview on 14th Jan in Delhi.I am in Chennai and i had to travel to Delhi for the same.Officer was satisfied with the docs provided but said that they will have to do some background check.Officer said that embassy will contact me when the verification is done.No 221g forms given,all the base docs (DS 156,DS157, Company letters taken).Have any one been in this situation before? What are the chances that i get a call again?

Ans: Shown My Master's degree certificates.
2) how many years of exp you have.
Ans: I said 5 Years
nothing more than that.

Be careful and carry all the docs.

1) the coy of the petition with supporting docs as filed to USCIS.
2) Petitioner's income tax returns for the last two tax years
3) Copy of the employment contract or letter of agreement signed by you adn the petitioner.
4) A notarized list of all the petitioner's employees. the list should show all employees names, job title, starting and ending dates, salry, and immigration status.
5) a detailed and specific description of the internal development project to which you will be assigned. include a complete technical description of the project etc...
6) letter from a client company sponsoring the project and a coy of the contract between the us based petitioner and the client company.
I believe it is not the right time to go for stamping...
