Hi Guys i got h1b visa successfully on 23rd april.
Before interview i have read experiences from thos site which r helped me alot get visa.
My interview time was at 3.15pm I went to consulate 2.30 only.First they checked mine and my wife passport and ds156 157 forms and they took finger prints.They gave blue folder with my documents.At 4 pm our turn has come.
VO: Hi how are you today.
Me: I am good how r u doing today.
VO: Good Thanks can i see your USIC letter(I coul not find quickly from bunch of papers so i was searching for that)
VO: dont worry give it to me i will find it.
ME:(i gave the docs n said i am sorry for that).
VO:Thats My job and i used to do everyday.(she found the paper and asked me)
VO:Can i see your MCA Certificates
ME: Ya sure(I gave my certificates)
VO: What is your role willbe there?
Me: Soft ware Engineer
VO:Inhosue project or client side project.
Me: Inhouse Project.
VO: Could you please explain about project.
Me: I have explianed about project in 3 lines.
VO: sorry i am going to take 5 minutes time.
Me: No worries.(After 2 minutes)
VO: Can i see your wedding album
Me: Ya sure(i was trying to give her but she said)
VO: Dont worry show from there the wedding ceremony photo.
Me: Ya sure(When i opened luckily the ceremony photo has come)
VO: Thats fine Thank you.(she was typing and looking into system after 2 mins)
VO: Your visas are approved and you will be getting by post in a week.
Me: Thank you verymuch You have a nice day.
she did not ask anything to my wife.
we were very happy and we came out immediately.
Be confident whatever you say but dont act like you are confident and smart.

Asked for passport after AAP
I used to read this forum after I got 221 g first time on September 25th 2007.I submitted all the petitioner side documents genuine to VFS with passport after 6 months. After one week (26th March 2008)I got another 221 g with passport returned for AAP.At that moment this site gave me hope that genuine documents will get Visa.Today 24-04-2008 that is nearly one month of AAP I got another 221 G saying to drop my passport for stamping.

Successful stamping in Chennai
Hi all,
This forum was a good help for me to prepare for my visa interview and so I wanted to share my experience. I got my visa successfully in chennai on April 22nd.
My profile:
Was on F1, started working on OPT and started my H1 last october.
My interview:
vo: hi. how r u?
me: hi (I gave the green folder to the vo)
vo: how long have u been in the US?
me: 3 and half years
vo: how long have u been with companyA?
me: 1 and half year
vo: where did u do ur masters?
me: so and so univ
vo: what did u study in ur masters?
me: computer science
vo: what do u do at CompanyA?
me: I work as a software engineer. I primarily work on so and so product and (at this point to VO interupted me and asked the next question)
vo: can i see ur recent pay stubs or w2 forms?
me: (I gave them to the vo, she quickly scanned through those documents and returned them to me)
vo: ur visa is issued. ur passport will be couriered to u in two days.
I got my passport back on April 24th.
Hope this helps others who are planning to attend the interview.

221 (g)
I got 221g and i submitted my documents on Feb26 and so far no information from the consulate. I called the US Visa office to check they said it is still with Chennai consulate. I called the VFS also then definitely can;t provide anything. Did any of you guys got email address to mail chennai consulate.? please mail me. I duno what to do this moment. i have given all the documents, Is there a way to find out what else they need?

i asked about the client letter but i gave details about the Internal Project which iam going to work.
but the VO gave me Blue form 221(g) to submit the client letter.
Please can any one tell me should i need to submit the same internal project description or should i need to get client letter from my employer

Can any body let me know why is USCIS showing 2007 H1 cases as pending that were recieved on May 2, 2007. As per my knowledge almost all the applications recieved same day are displayed pending. What had happened to such cases. Are they going get papers. Please reply.
