Hello friends, here is my experience on my HNSC after my extension denial from US and H1/H4 Chennai drop box experience.
I have I140 approved and applied extension on my 6th year (maxed out)
H1B/H4 Extension from US:
Jun 26 - H1/H4 filed in normal mode at Nebraska
Jul 2 - Receipt Notice Received
Jul 23 - Upgraded H1 to Premium processing
Jul 26 - Received RFE from USCIS
Aug 19 - RFE responded
Aug 23 - Petition Denied
Travelled to India in a weeks time on Sep 1, 2019 with my family
Filed HNSC from India:
Oct 26 - Petition filed with USCIS in premium mode at Texas Service center
Oct 30 - Receipt notice received
Nov 8 - Petition approved for 3 years without RFE
Timelines below with DS 160 / USTRAVELDOCS status:
Nov 26 - Submitted my and my wife's passport thru drop box option at chennai (11 AM)
Nov 27 to Dec 2 - No status / Passport still with embassy
Nov 3 to Nov 11 - Application Received / Passport still with embassy
Nov 12 - Changed to Administrative Processing (3 PM)
Nov 13 - Changed to ISSUED for both H1 and H4 (11 AM) / Passports ready for pickup
Nov 14 - Collected the passport with stamped passport at 11AM
It almost took 3 months end to end to get my stamped passport in hand it was really stressful and no other go, we have to wait. Each case will be different from each other and we can't compare.

Photo returned back while picking up passport after dropbox
I got my photo back while picking up my passport from vac and they gave me a green slip for an interview
I gave my interview on 10th and was approved it is still in admin processing
Do anyone know how much time does it take for it to update to issued
Also as my photo was returned to me how will they print it on Visa.

H4 Dropbox - anyone can share the list of supporting documents?

It has been a while since I have been Dropbox eligible and I looked up the list of supporting documents to be mailed at https://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-visarenew.asp
Going by this list , I may have to send documents that include tax statements and pay slips from 2009!
Anyone who has attended recently, would you be able to share the list of supporting documents that you sent ?
Also, is there any disadvantage if me and my spouse applied for Dropbox through different profiles? I came to know that you can add a dependent for Dropbox very recently.

H1-B Dropbox 221g - green slip Experience
My timeline is as below:
Dec 1: Dropped off passport to VFS pune.
Dec 4: Received email "passport returned from embassy"
Dec 6: Picked up the passport with no stamp, 2 photos that I had submitted and the dreaded green
slip 221g with nothing ticked on it.
Sent email to support usatraveldocs on same day with screenshot of 221g asking for next
steps.
Dec 9: Received email asking to come for the interview. (No specific docs were requested)
Dec 12: Gave Interview at Mumbai consulate (walk in - no appointment needed, they have a
separate line for green slip folks. Carry the email confirmation asking for the interview if you
are in the same boat.
Fingerprints were taken
VO: Give me your passport and slip
Me: Here's the passport and slip but there's nothing checked on it.
VO: I apologize for that. So you were a student before in USA right?
Me: Yes, that's right.
VO; Was there any issues with your SEVIS ID/I20 etc?
Me: No. Not at all. (I was never in cap gap, everything was by the book as far as my MS was
concerned)
VO: Alright, your VISA is approved. You will get the email in few days for the passport pick up. (He kept the passport with him)
(Dont know what was the need of the interview, it didn't even last 30 seconds)
Dec 15: Status is still administrative processing on CEAC site. Waiting for it to change to "Issued".
Note: The USAtraveldocs site still says "passport was picked up" since I picked up the passport during the 221g receiving timeline. I dont think it updates itself when you appear for the interview. I read somewhere that this is not worrisome and the status on USAtraveldocs will also change to "Ready for pick up" as soon as VISA is issued and passport is ready.
Final question: The photos I gave during dropbox were returned to me with the slip. They didn't take any photos during my interview (just the fingerprints). Will this cause trouble? I dont know what photo they are going to use for the stamping? Has anyone gone through this photo situation with dropbox? I will update this thread with further developments.

H4 extension and H4 EAD approved but no I94 details
I got my H4 extension approved till Dec 2022 and also got the H4 ead new card till that date.But i got only the I797 but no I797A. I 797 dont have any I 94 details attached. What should I do to get new I94 for this approved extended date?

After 2 days I have shared My employer letter along with client letter stating they won't be issuing letters to consulting companies.. Same can be issued by employer.

There was mismatch in my wife DOB in DS 160 and Passport.
They asked me to correct and come . at basement there is Internet cafe they Corrected my DS 160.
Went again to VAC .. They have taken Photo and fingerprint then done for the day.
Suggestion : Check all Entry in DS 160 prior. Specially which come in confirmation page.
Main Interview - US consulate net day:
I went to the interviewer Till that all was good.
Vo asked me : Name , company, Client, salary, Location.

Vo asked from wife : Are you working, This is your only child ?
