This forum is really helpfull to the applicants especially for new applicants......
I had my H1B interview yesterday (18-jun-2007) and i went alone and did not take my spouse for H4.There was a huge crowd my timing was 9:30am and i was interviewed at 1:30pm.
My VC was really very tough and he throws me rapid fire questions even before i answer his previous one.....He was very much concentrated on my project and just want to make sure that i have got enough experience on the technology........
Atlast the golden words "YOUR VISA IS APPROVED SIR"....
Guys,,,,, If you are confident on you, you will get you the Visa very easily....

I got US B-1 Visa rejected in June2006.I don't have any refesual letter with me.
i had all documents with me BEP letter was there.
They asked me about
1. Why you left your previous company (i wrote only 6 month expr.But in reality i had 1.6yrs expr.I had not mentioned the 1yr expr as it was small firm)
2.they asked me are you single (Yes still single)
3.Why will you come back to india again?
Now i am planning to reapply my visa.
I will now show 1.6Yr expr and with current company 1.3yr expr.
What should i answer for following questions
1.Why your visa got rejected?
2.Why you left your previous company in 6 months only?
3.Why will you come back to india again ?

how much time have i to wait for response from embassy

i have submitted the documents asked by the visa officer on june 6 at new delhi consulate.when i chek the case status of my case it is showing as below
Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER
Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.
The I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER that was transferred to our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Clarification regarding 221(g) Blue
Hi All,
As shared earlier i attended for my H1 visa in chennai and the officer has issued 221(g) Blue asking for 9 different docs from the employer.One out of the list is
"The applicants complete itenary of services,including company name and address".
Can anybody tell me who should issue this and is that this information is about my previous experiences or the future projects for which i will be working in US.
Pls let me know at the earliest and Thanx in advance.

H1 Apporval done from INS
Hi, I got my pettition approved from INS dept last 3rd july. My consultant says that i have to wait till septemeber as the slot opens for this year h1 quota opens in that month. Is it true..?? i see people here reporting their experience and so i am eager to know which is true. also, could anyone reply what are all the document that i have to get from my consultant... many thanks... Successful H4 stamping at Chennai
Hi..!!!
I went for recent H4stamping at Chennai on 12th july.I got married in d month of April which was suddenly fixed and unplanned.So my hubby had to leave after few days of our marriage.I didn't had my passport at that time so had to stay back.All d original documents r with him and i went only with photocopies of those to d consulate.I was worried if they wud ask me originals and how wud i handle the situation then.My hubby kept on comforting me that they won't ask me since he is already in US.But i was worried still.
Consulate General comes every 1/2 hr guides and comforts people with his sweet words.They say
they don't need bundles of docmuents, They can judge people with few genuine documents and d way one responds in d interview.
My turn had come and i went and greeted d VO with a big smile.He asked me my Marriage date,d reason why i was still here,hubby's Paystubs,Passport,Visa,Marriage certificate and Wedding album.I showed him those.
It was all done by God's grace.
Few things one needs to take care in d interview are: Never get tensed, be cool,greet them
first with either by words or a smile they feel happy and half d tension is gone there itself.
Produce only those documents which they ask. Be a keen listener and answer appropriately
to wat they ask in simple words.Then d day is our's !!!!!!!!!

Succesful h1b after 2 years
Hello friends,
I got my h1 b visa stamped after 1 year which is in AAP.So please dont disheartened who are in AAP.You will get it sure if you produce genuine documents.Not only that me and four friends all are in AAP got visa.

VO:Asked for all the mandatory docs

Me:ZZZ Company(Big Indian IT Company as BA)
VO:Since how long?
Me:Close to one year
VO:Can i see ur educational docs?
Me:Gave
VO(Lady in Chennai) scanned for few mins and gave it back
VO:Prior to the YYYY Company where did you worked?
Me:YYYY (Big Indian Bank)
VO:Oh Great & asked where will i work in US
