Dear XYZ,
I had been to Chennai consulate on 19th July 2007 for H - 1b visa, but unfortunately they issued 221g form and ticked all the documents mentioned in that form. But the strange thing is that I was carrying all the documents, that were mentioned in the 221g and also told the VO the same. But he told me "Do u expect me to read all these docs now". I really don't understand why he did this. Let me share my conversation with the VO.
Me: Good afternoon Sir.
VO: Hello
ME: I handed over all the documents in the blue folder (D - 156, D-157, PASSPORT, I797).
V0: He started going through D-156 and asked about my past experience.
ME: xyxxx....
VO: He opened 1797 and asked me will you work for XYZ company.
ME: Yes Sir.
vo: What will be your role??
ME: blabla....
VO: Can u provide the letter from the employer to US secretary about your responsibilities.
ME: I gave it. He told this looks fine.
VO: He asked me on which project will you work on.
ME: xyx;
VO: Can you please provide me the project details.
ME: I gave it to him.
VO: He read the first page of the doc and he started checking something in the computer. He did this atlease for 5 mins.
VO: I can't issue the visa now as there so many documents missing.
ME: Which are those??
VO: Tax returns, unemployment wage report, project duration...etc.
ME: Sir I am carrying all these document with me.
VO: I will read out the documents which I want now. If you say "No" then you have to walk out. Is that Okey for you.
ME: I said, Yes sir.
VO: He read out the documents from 221G.
ME: I said yes to all, as I was having it. and handed over the same to VO.
VO: He asked me "do you expect me to read all the documents now".
ME: I gave a smile.
VO: He picked up the "Unemployment wage report" and said it looks fine. (this document is about 100pages). But he read only the first page.
VO: Sir I would appreciate if you send all these documents to me by POST. After checking it I will further process your case. Thank you.
ME: Fine, Sir. How should i do that??
VO: blabla...
ME: Thank you Sir.
I really don't know Y he did that to me though I had all the document intact.
Could someone help me out in finding the visa consultant in Bangalore, where I can check whether the document that I have from the employer is correct. Or should I send something different through Courier.

Hello all,
This forum is really helpfull to the applicants especially for new applicants......
I had my H1B interview yesterday (18-jun-2007) and i went alone and did not take my spouse for H4.There was a huge crowd my timing was 9:30am and i was interviewed at 1:30pm.
My VC was really very tough and he throws me rapid fire questions even before i answer his previous one.....He was very much concentrated on my project and just want to make sure that i have got enough experience on the technology........
Atlast the golden words "YOUR VISA IS APPROVED SIR"....
Guys,,,,, If you are confident on you, you will get you the Visa very easily....

I got US B-1 Visa rejected in June2006.I don't have any refesual letter with me.
i had all documents with me BEP letter was there.
They asked me about
1. Why you left your previous company (i wrote only 6 month expr.But in reality i had 1.6yrs expr.I had not mentioned the 1yr expr as it was small firm)
2.they asked me are you single (Yes still single)
3.Why will you come back to india again?
Now i am planning to reapply my visa.
I will now show 1.6Yr expr and with current company 1.3yr expr.
What should i answer for following questions
1.Why your visa got rejected?
2.Why you left your previous company in 6 months only?
3.Why will you come back to india again ?

how much time have i to wait for response from embassy

i have submitted the documents asked by the visa officer on june 6 at new delhi consulate.when i chek the case status of my case it is showing as below
Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER
Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.
The I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER that was transferred to our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. As shared earlier i attended for my H1 visa in chennai and the officer has issued 221(g) Blue asking for 9 different docs from the employer.One out of the list is
"The applicants complete itenary of services,including company name and address".
Can anybody tell me who should issue this and is that this information is about my previous experiences or the future projects for which i will be working in US.
Pls let me know at the earliest and Thanx in advance.

H1 Apporval done from INS
Hi, I got my pettition approved from INS dept last 3rd july. My consultant says that i have to wait till septemeber as the slot opens for this year h1 quota opens in that month. Is it true..?? i see people here reporting their experience and so i am eager to know which is true. also, could anyone reply what are all the document that i have to get from my consultant... many thanks...
