Successful stamping - Chennai
Hi,

I attended my Visa interview on Dec 27th. The interview was pretty cool.

The questions asked where,
1) What you are going to do after going to U.S?
2) How long u have been associated with this company?
3) Asked for my degree certificates.

I didn't have market analysis document and unemployment wage report but I spoke confidently and I was not asked for those documents.

Thanks,
Vijayan.

I am planning to go for Visa Stamping by Feb 1st week, so i started going through the discussion forum couple of weeks back. In one of the discussion, someone suggested to take "Unemployement Wage Report" while going to Visa Interview. Could anyone tell me what details would be present in Unemployement Wage Report

Got Visa after 221(g)
Hi,

I have attended H1 visa interview on Nov 6, 2006. I went along with my wife and my 9 months old kid.We got the first preference because of my kid.they asked us to go to the interview counter after finger print.I have given my petition papers. VO asked my degree certificate. I gave the same. She asked my experience letters.i gave the same.she asked me to wait for a minute and she took all docs along with her and went inside.she returned back after 10 mins.she asked me about the proj details.I said that i am gng to work in inhouse project.then she was asking for proj description docs.i said i haven't received proj description related doc.suddenly she took 221(g) and marked everything under petioner.Eventhough i had some of those docs and i gave the same to her.she had gone thru that and gave 221(g).she asked me to drop all those marked docs into drop box.at this point i thought that i will not get the visa.

i have informed my employer about the docs.I received all docs from my employer after 2 months.I have submitted my docs thru drop box last week.we got the passport with stamping with in 3 days.I was really surprised and dont have any words to say.

Be confident.you will get the visa.

Thanks,
CH

Is frequent job change in india a problem for US Visa
i have worked in more than 3 companies for the past 4 years.
I have changed my previous job in less than 8 months to return from noida to hyderabad again.
I have an interview scheduled this feb 2007 ... my longest work time at an employer was only 19 months ....

I have changed my jobs for many reasons and the last i did as i have to return to hyderabad.

Many people say that this will definitely effect my US H1 Visa..(Ppl say that there are more chances of getting the visa rejected as the officer thinks that i am changing my job because of Money)...

Anybody faced the similar situation ... Please suggest me and help me.

I am really perplexed with my current situation.

Regarding scheduling an Appointment
Hello Friends,

I have been a regular visitor of this website..
I have an important and an urgent query.

In one of the previous experience in this site, some members shared their experiences about booking the appointment in New Delhi.

They wrote that,

If we belong to the Chennai counsulate region and If we select, for example, Feb 15th in New Delhi calender, the system automatically gives the appointment for Feb 15th in Chennai if there is availability in chennai for the same day..

Is this information right..

I called Delhi embassy and they said that there is no such rule. I got the same reply thru email also from the embassy.

Please give the information if anyone faced the same problem.

Thanks in advance,,

Rithika.
