VO told that ur experience is fake
i told that i am very sure abt my experience
she told me that we will check ur experience

my friend was also got same situation
yesterday evening one american n indian came to my friends current working office n asked abt my friend details.
but they didnt come to my office.
is there any one r ur friends got same situation like person came to office directly.
please help me out.really they come for checking directly for every candidate.

B1 visa with kid when spouse in USA in H1B
I am here in USA (H1B) and my wife has to travel to US in B1 thru her company with our son.
Everyone discouraged her saying that they will treat you as a potential immigrant.
The VO asked the same question.
Where is ur husband ?
His next statement. It's very unusual to give visa in this scenario, where we suspect that you wont come back. So we cant issue a visa. do u have to tell some thing.
Then my wife convinced him saying that my hus is in USA for different assignment and if I want to join him I can always do that in H4 and so and so..
VO said that your answer is convincing, so I am issuing u visa. he asked about what you are going to do with ur kid and all.
All the time he was watching her body language and face expression.
Even my H1b is stamped thru a small consulting company and some how I manage to answer the questions properly.
In my opinion to get visa is very simple if you are genuine and you can present your case properly. Dont lie...they are very expert in reading body language and I heard they are trained for that.

he attended the interview 3 months back
at that time vo told that ur experience is fake so we need to check....thats it

This certainly gives me confidence. And I sure know what it is like to wait for so long with no information. Hope it'll work out for me too. I'm yet to receive an email from the Consulate after the 221 Blue slip thing.
Could somebody tell me how much time it'll take for the consulate to contact us after we drop off all docs in the drop box. This is for the 221g Blue slip case where passport was not to be dropped along with the docs.

221 (g) blue form with AAP
Hi Folks,
I have read many of these kind of postings..some were encouraging and some were distressing. But believe me, unless you completely depend on this..you shouldnt worry.
Let us prepare ourself saying that its only a good chance but not destiny..Mind you, this is only to console ourselves. In reality, definitely its gonna come our way..but may be a bit late.taz it :) Now, people may think that I am giving too much of gyan. I was also facing the same problem. If we can do nothing but to wait, what else can we do ?
I too got a 221(g) AAP on Nov20th and today I got a mail from Consulate asking me to post:
1. Completed visa application form - DS-156 and DS-157.
2. Color visa photograph (50mm x 50mm, front-facing, white background)
3. Passport (must be valid for six months at the time of application)
4. Self-addressed sufficiently stamped envelope to return document
5. A printout of this email
Folks, mind you, I am an MBA guy with a BCA background.So, I hope even this addresses the queries regarding people having a non-computer PG background.
So, I would like to say that, we will get but only thing is to be positive..

Hi,
i got 221(g) on 11th jan 2007 at chennai, i came back home and asked my employer to give me all doc's in 221(g) he gave me all the doc's, But when i wanted to drop then in dropbox, i was unable to find my DS-156 and 157, i even do not know whether my VO has given me back or not, but inthe 221(g) which i have recevied by default they have makred( passport,DS-156,157i-797,i-129)... Now what should i do and whom to contact , whether to take a new print of DS-156 and 157 and drop in drop box or anyother proccess is there..

I wish to thank this site which helped me a lot to prepare myself for the interview.
My interview was on 18th Jan, I spent nearly 5 hrs in the queue.
Finally when I reached in front of VO it was nearly 5.30pm. VO was a 30 years old US guy This is how the conversation went .
VO: Hello,How are you
Me: Fine,Thanks How r you.
VO: What will you do in US?
Me: I will be working as an analyst for my client ZZZ. Also I voluntarely told my petitioner name. ( My H1B was processed by my current employer)
VO:How long you have been working for YYY company
ME: 4 Years
VO:How long you have been working for YYYY client
ME: 4 Years
VO: On which project you will work in US?
Me: ABC project.
VO: What is the Strength of ur company going to be?
Me: ...............
VO: Show me the degree certificate
Me: Showed him
VO: Show me the offer letter
Me: Showed him
Finally he said ur visa has been approved. You will receive your passport in 3 days.
Me: Thank you very much.
