Hi,
I am in 8th year extension. Planning to visit India by end of this month. Anybody went to stamping with 8th year extension to Chennai Consulate.

Hi everyone ..
iam thankfull to all the people who has posted their experiences in this site.
i got my h1 b stamping at delhi recently..
my documentation was perfect as i didnt want to take any chances.
my interview was like this...
i was standing in the line after gone through some procedures like fingerprints etc etc ( dont worry about all these things as person will be their to guide u) ,when one counter got free the lady inside the counter called me.i went to that counter..
me: Good afternoon madam with a gentle smile.
vo: hi ,(with smile) can i see ur application.
me: i gave my papers .
vo: how much experience u got.
me : ****
vo: how many employees r u in the company.
me: ****
vo: how much is ur current sal.
me: ****
vo: r u married.
me:yes.
vo: do u have kids.
me : yes one son and a daughter.
vo: they r coming with u.
me:No maddam.Actually my daughter is just 3 months old so she needs more care now.they will join me later.
vo:ok ur visa is approved , u will get ur passport afterwards.
me : thank u very much maddam.
i was very happy and left the place..
so guys be cool, and be perfect with the documentation as it will boostup ur confidence.
be clear and specefic while speaking.make an eye contact while talking.i was having client letter and all but they didnt ask anyhting.

plz wait for the admin process to be completed and then we in touch with you.
we are unable to provide any time frame in your case.
there are a few cases which have been refused for administration processing but do not fall within the category of cases list website and your case is one of those not in that category.

regarding to 2+ experiece kept in H1b
my name is venu madhav i applied to 2006 H1b and i got papers i heard from many sites that 2 + expereince is not sufficient the rejection chances are more.my visa date is nov 30.kindly help me in clarifying this issue.

I got AAP on aug 30th and the VO as send me a blue sheet 2 days back..He has written Send ur PPT & DD thrugh drop box..He didnt mention r tick any other documents..If any body got the same notice ..what docs did u send along with ur passport & visa.

I will start with some tips on Interview preparation and then I will brief down my experience
Important tips.
1. Please have all the documents complete .You should have documents to support all the answers you give.
2. Please priorly prepare probable questions and there answers before going, its very very important.
3. Be cool and answer confidently even if you are lieing something.

Hi,
My H1B stamping was done on Aug 30th at Chennai. It was a peaceful process that day as it was not crowded as usual :).
There were 3 VOs present and one guy was rejecting almost all the applications that came to him. My interview just took a minute but not with the guy who was rejecting.
Lady VO: Hi, how are you doing?
Me: Good.
VO: Whats ur position in this company?
Me: Told my position.
VO: Location?
Me: NYC.
VO: Looks like your documents are in order, go and pay the visa fees.
