Urgent : Visa issuance fee with revised exchange rates
Hi,
Has any attended visa interview (at Chennai) with revised exchange rate (Rs. 48)?
In my case I have a DD taken for Rs.2300. Now should I go for a new DD for Rs. 2400 or can I have an another one for Rs. 100 along with Rs.2300 DD?
An urgent response is appeciable.

My employer is doing my H1. USICS is yet to approve my petition. I want to apply H4 visa for my wife.
Can I take her the consulate directly with the required documents and visa fee?

Does INS refund visa cost if they do not issue visa?
My employer filed H1B for me with my cost. H1 approved, but I did not get the Visa. Does INS refunds visa cost

My employer filed H1B for me with all my cost.
I got H1 approval notice (meaning i got LIN receipt number).
I appreared for consulate interveiw at chennai, India for the visa where they issued me 221(g) for some reason.
Later, I had to go to conulate office with all the documents to get the visa.
Now, due to some of my family problems, Iam not in a position to go to US. Hence I wanted my emploer to cancel the h1 to get my money back; he is saying the visa money is not refundable.
Is it true that INS will not refund if they are not issuing visa ?

VO didnt ask any queries.
