I need help
Hi all,
i applied for h1 for year 2006 and i atteneded the visa interview at chennai and i got AAP the my employer removed that application and he filed again for this year quota i may get papers in oct but he did the filing by specifying consulate as singapore.
my question can i attened the interview at chennai or not.
Bcoz am in india hyderabd.
pls help me out am under very much pressure and tension

Got Visa after 221G
I went for visa stamping last May 2006 and got 221g at US Embassy Singapore. VO asked me to bring itenerary and project description.
Last 12 July came back and finally got my visa stamp including H4 for my family. VO asked me many times what is my plan after the H1 expired. I told the VO that I will come back in Singapore. VO not satisfied he told me that not buying my story. I thought I will not get my stamping. VO asked me again and told him the same answer and finally told me that I can received my passport on two days time.
Getting Visa is really need God's blessing and courages. Answer the VO with direct and maintain the same if they asked repetively.

Got Visa after 221G
Got my visa today after getting 221g about two month's back.
Here is my experience today
I was asked client photos,letter and Itinary of services the last time around
Went with some of the documents this time
VO: hello
Me: Good morning Visa officer
Me: Looks like you are having a hard day today
VO : Oh it is ok .......(smiles)
Took all the required documents and started entering some information
VO: Did you bring the required documents
Me: yes officer
Gave her a set of documents. she went through the same and started checking something on her computer.
VO:what is your area of speciailisation
Me:explained my skill set
Me:Did I answer your question?
VO: oh yeah
VO:where are your client photos
Me: explained that i will be working in remote fashion and I do not have client photos (I has some supporting documents to this effect)
VO:Do you have a lit of employees of this company that you are going to work for
Me;I had provided it in my earlier visit
she took about 5 mts to go through all the documents and finally said - Please pay your fees
I thanked her and left the counter
So guys please be confident in your answers - look at the officer straight and make sure you ask them

This is important because they sometimes dont follow our Indian English Accent and might tend to assume something else.
