Hi,

https://www.immihelp.com/experience/289262-L1B-individual-approved-after-Blanket-rejection.html
I was deeply saddened by the fact that my visa got rejected. It suddenly looked at of the world. For a week we have declared mourning days.
Here is the brief summary of the events.
Nov 13th - Blanket Visa rejected
Nov 13th Discussion with lawyers about filing individual petition. - My immigration lawyer was confident to get my L1B individual approved.
Nov 29th - Petition filed with USCIS
Dec 12th - RFE received with almost all the questions. (Why? - see below for my view)
Dec 13th - Jan 2nd - nothing moved on because of holidays, partying in US.
Jan 2nd - Attorney prepared RFE response and sent for my review.
Jan 9th - I have replied back with necessary edits along with my training certificates, pay slips, org charts, performance review sheets, appreciation mails and everything which i feel makes sense.
Jan 19th - RFE response received by USCIS
an 29th - Received approval from USCIS.
Now, let me explain my view about why my RFE is long. While filing the petition, lawyers took defensive approach by filing with minimal documentation. When RFE received, their response is full blown. It is hard to reject the case by reading the response. They also focus on -
Why you?
why not others?
why can't the role be filled by hiring in US?
Feb 10th - Received hard copy of the approval notice

What is your job?,
Which team are you going to work?
what is US salary?
Head office or client location?
Nov 13th to Feb 15th - what an emotional ride it was.
He waited for approval notice to be pop up in his system and said that we are good to go.

Slowly getting adjusted in US.
Good luck to you all.
