First of all I would like to thank everyone for all the help and guidance on this forum and website.
I got my visa approved today. The interview was a short one as my L1A individual petition was already approved by the USCIS. As usual there was a huge queue and all people from slots 8-11:30 am could enter provided they had all the documents.
My experience is shared below:
Me: Hi Mam , Good Morning (with a smile, very important to stay calm)
VO: Good morning Sir, how are you doing?
Me: Good
VO: so this is your first L1
Me : (I thought she was asking about L1A so I said Yes and then I decided to clarify):
So application wise for L1 this is my second, last time I filed for L1B blanket in 2015 but could not get through
VO: Ok, I see. So what would be your designation
Me: Project Manager
VO : How many people do you manage?
Me: Currently 7, when I move to the US I would be managing 10.
VO: Would you work for a client ?
Me; Yes Mam.
VO: Who is the client ?
Me: <Answered>
VO: What would be your salary ?
Me: <Answered> (base +bonus)
Then finally it came : (She typed in the computer for 5 seconds and said)-
"Your Visa had been approved" (the golden words) , you would get your passport in 4-5 days

Interview has got over within 5-8 minutes, as the L1 A petition is approved they do not go in detail.

Attended by L1B Blanket Interview on 23rd March 2017 at Chennai Consulate. Below are the questions.
Me: Good morning Sir. How are you?
VO: Very Good morning Sir. I am good. Thank you.
Please pass me your passport and all the documents. (DS-160, I-129S, I-797 and DD Receipt)
VO: So you work for XYZ?
Me: Yes Sir
VO: Do you know which category of VISA you are applying for, L1A or L1B Blanket?
Me: L1B Blanket Sir
VO: L1B Blanket. That means specialized skill. Please describe me shortly your specialized skills
Me: My specialized skill is knowledge of Application ABC which is a proprietary application of XYZ and we are currently developing it.
VO: You are developing it?
Me: Yes Sir
VO: How long are you planning to go?
Me: 15 Months
VO: Okay.
Waits for 30 seconds, enters few things on his system
VO: Your VISA is approved. Allow me two minutes to complete the stamping on your documents.

VO: Stamps on I-129S approved and enters VISA validity date and hands over the documents to me.

L1A - RFE review reponse wait times
Hi all,
I am sure there would be many of you under L1A or B category and received RFE for Vermount center.
Does anyone know of the current wait times on the RFE review response from USCIS once we submit the RFE reponse? My RFE response was submitted back in NOV 2016 for normal processing and I am yet to find any update about approval or rejection from USCIS till date. Is it a TRUMP effect causing such a long delays?
Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

This site has helped me a lot in preparing for my interview apart from training's given by my company.
Completed bio metric quickly and headed to consulate.Big queue. finally after 1.5hrs of wait my turn came.
Me- Good morning
VO- Good morning
VO- Which company u work for?

Me-xx yrs yy months
Vo- Where r u going in US?
Me- xxx
VO-What u will b doing there?
Me- I will be handing multiple projects ,doing project management...she cut me in between in asked next question ( Just to share I had prepared following pts for role n responsibilties question -
Project management, Risk management,resource planning,budgeting and ensuring quality and timely delivery across projects and business development and client acquisition)
VO- how much is ur salary?
Me- xxx+ yyy performance bonus( she looked satisfied with salary figure)
Vo- How many direct reportees in US?
Me-3
VO-What is there designation?
Me- 1SM, 2 managers
Vo- what is ur designation?
Me- Senior manager
she asked again..senior what..I said Sr manager.
VO- Who is ur client?
Me- xxx
typed something and finally the golden words..

I thanked and left happily.
I wore formal and tie..no blazers.
The VO only looked once at me and rest of the time was busy typing something in her system.
Just be confident and answer..No need to panic.
(Overheard few questions for other candidates while waiting for my turn.
-One VO was asking this to almost all ppl coming to her counter-

L1A Individual after L1A Blanket Rejection
Hi Guys,
My L1A Blanket was rejected on 15th Nov 2016.
After that my employer has filled L1A Individual Regular i.e. without PP on 15th Dec 2016 and USCIS received my case on 16th Dec 2016. Till now I dont see any further update on my case and always used to see same status on "https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do"
"On December 16, 2016, we received your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number ZZZ, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by January 15, 2017, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
My case was submitted to "California Service Center".
Not sure how much time it would take to get next level of status.
If anyone has same experience then please suggest.
