Hello, I recently cam back to India after 4.4 year. I was in US in L1B visa. My employer applied for H1B 2015, but my application was not picked in Lottery. Now, my employer wants to file new L1B visa. Is it ok to do so ? I have been in india for 3 months only, is there any chances of rejection because of this reason ? Please share your opinion friends.

L1B indiviual: request for additional docs.
Hi,
I have attended My L1B individual visa interview at Yerevan, Armenia.
The process was very simple, I have asked only 4 questions.
1. Which visa you are applying for ?
2. What is you title?
3. What are you going to do in US.
4. What is your firm doing ?
These for questions, and also requested evidence that I have worked in my current company for 3 years. As I hadn't my contract copy with me he put the case on hold until I'll submit my contract with my current employer. But anyway, I guess my contract was attached to L1B case, which was sent to USCIS, so the VO could look there, anyway will submit docs by Monday and hopefully get my VISA.

Thanks for this forum and the contributors. This site helped me a lot in preparation.
I went with my wife and son(2 years) and the whole process take 10-15 minutes after entering in. Interview lost for less than a minute.
Questions:
1. Are you going to work from client site or in your parent company?
2. Is this visa is L1A individual or L1B individual?
3. What will be your designation in US?
No questions to my wife.
* Well planned for traffic, if you are travelling from a distance. So you will be tension free
* I have not asked any documents to show other than my passport and DS-160. But i have carried all the supporting docs.
* Lastly, preparation! preparation! & prayers & confidence. Short and precise answer.

Tips - Keep your answers short , pointed and precise . Be calm and confident. And lastly practice and practice .

Hi all- I am filling up DS-160, in my passport my surname is blank, and my entire name has been mentioned in Given name.....what should i fill in DS-160 in place of given name and surname

L1B Blanket @ 11 of AUG AP with No Update
Hi All,
I went to the embassy at 11 of AUG 2015 but something strange happens first before getting the queue number they requested me to pay the 500$ Anti-Fraud Paid on the cashier and returned back and got number .
then finger prints just 2 mins.
then went to the interview during the interview:
the VO asked for DS-160 confirmation I showed it and then the passport i saw VO is entering my name on the PC then came the problem the 129s at this moment the VO got stuck and after that asked me for the 797 gave it also and then the VO after that trying to scroll up with mouse and after that asked what is your degree showed it also and after this some couple question during the questions returned for me the bachelor equivalence and then kept scrolling up again and then VO don't know what to do exactly then after that asked for the copy of bachelor equivalence and after that another person from inside was moving around VO called him and muted the Microphone and discussion for 1 or 2 mins after that asked for the bachelor equivalence to add it to my documents and handed for 221g white.
i was going to leave in the last second before i leave the VO said look take all your documents and we will contact you back, i was leaving and the VO called could you please give me the DS-160 confirmation page printed
and the strange thing that the 221g is only marked with the first square which it saying administrative process or submitting a documents. but when you check the list of documents nothing is marked what does this mean and if some body got this same status let me know please.

As said by everyone, be confident, maintain eye contact and dont get tensed with the questions asked to the persons in front of you.
Because there was a person who is from my company only, applied for same visa but blanket, and VO was asking questions like anything. His was more than 2-3 minutes interview and was asking for very minute details. And his visa also got approved...
FYI VO was a guy :), but it hardly matters whether its boy or girl :)

1)Be confident .Make eye contact
2)DO NOT staple you documents.Use jump clips as they make ask you to take out unncessary documents before the actual interview.
3)Do not carry extra things on both days. No Bags. Do not use zipped folders.Best is to have a transparent file folder /L folder.
4)Do not carry unnecessary envelops in the docs that you carry. Or else they will check each one of them and it will take lot of time.
I didnot carry phone nor wallet to the interview location.
