Hi Friends,
I recently applied a new OCI card for my daughter and here below are the application tracking status.
Everything went very well(without any further questions) and I have received OCI card as well.
For checking application status, I highly recommend you to check in Govt site along with CKGS as Govt.
To avoid further questions from CKGS/OCI dept., I suggested you to double check all the documents 2 or 3 times before sending them to CKGS office so that process will go smooth without any hiccups.

Re-issue OCI of minor new passport after 20. Houston
I sent in all my documents for re-issue of OCI to ckgs and consulate is taking long time. Have planned and booked a trip to India on December 12, and return in Janurary.
If I have my OCI for my old passport, and my old passport and new passport can I take it to go to India and be ok? Old passport expired in 2013, I was 18. Am 21 now.
If I cannot use old passport with OCI How long should I wait until I should just get visa instead to be safe?
