OCI Card

DC Embassy Ack Date is 12/26. Since then no movement. Is this normal speed for this jurisdiction. Other consulates seem to racing compared to DC.

I am still waiting for an update on this process, I have not received any acknowledgement from the Govt. website. Here is the OCI process so far -

Does anyone know if I should reach out to CKGS or the Govt. website for the acknowledgement or is this expected?

Hello,

For OCI Reissue - I'm currently on the 5th business day of "Under Process" at the consulate. I have a travel date of 1st week of February which does cut it close to receiving the visa in a timely manner. The CKGS website says the processing time is 4 - 5 business days for OCI reissue and it is currently the 5th business day. I was wondering, Has anyone's application took longer at the NY consulate embassy? The date of acknowledgement was 12th January, 2018. Thank you

For NEW OCI For Minor - Did anyone receive the OCI who has Acknowledgement Date after 1-Dec-2017? My Acknowledgement Date is 15-Dec-2017 and still waiting to get any further updates. Need to Travel to India in min of February, please update ASAP. Thanks for your help in advance.

My date of Acknowledgement at New York CGI is 15-Dec-2017, but no updates after that.
My case still shows Document Printing Status "in process" at Govt OCI tracker.

Did anyone applying at New York CGI and has acknowledgement date around 15-Dec-2017 got any updates?

Looks like Chicago and SFO CGIs are processing it faster now because people who's date of acknowledgement was around 5-Dec-2017 have received their OCI Cards around 10-Jan-2018.

Could someone please let me know if I would be able to get the NEW OCI before March 9 since I have a plan to visit India?
