U.S.A. Visa Fee Payment Options in Mexico

Each applicant for a U.S. nonimmigrant visa must pay the visa application fee (MRV) before they can schedule an appointment. Regardless of whether a visa is issued, the fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

The following are the U.S. visa fee payment options:

  • Cash Only

Starting in August, 2017, you can no longer use a credit card to pay nonimmigrant visa application fees, except for H2 seasonal workers applying through an approved H2 group processor. To pay by cash:
    • Visit usvisa-info.com and create an account.

    • Log into the website using the applicant’s passport number, date of birth, and country of citizenship.

    • Follow the instructions online to select the applicant’s trip purpose, preferred consulate at which to schedule an appointment, and other pertinent details related to the visa application.

    • You will be provided with options to either make a payment or to confirm that a payment has already been made by entering “MRV Fee Receipt Number”.

    • Select “Pay by Cash”.

      • Click “Download Instructions”.

      • Print the electronically generated deposit slip for each applicant

      • Take the deposit slip(s) to either Citi Banamex or Scotiabank and make the payment.

      • Wait at least two business days from the time you deposited the payment before scheduling an appointment.

      • Return to usvisa-info.com and enter the “MRV Fee Receipt Number” when asked to provide it. That number is separate for each applicant and is located at the top of the deposit slip.
