Norfolk Interview Experience
I had my interview on 9/2. It lasted about 30 min. We went through the history questions and the IO stopped after 6 correct answers. She then went through the yes and no questions while typing on the computer. After all, she said because my application is based on 3 years of marriage, I’ll need to provide proof that we were still marriage. I hd a lot of documents with me that I provided for her to scan (tax transcripts, proof of insurance, car loan statements, lease agreements, ect).

She gave me the paper stating I passed the test and all but, I was told a decision couldn’t be made that day. Apparently, the officer is still waiting for my file to review it (I’m not sure from where). I was hoping to get oath done the same day but that wasn’t the case. The officer also said, I’ll get a later in the mail to appear for the oath ceremony if I get approved.

Anyone else still waiting for approval or a decision after interview?

- USCIS received paperwork on 2/21
- Biometrics scheduled on 2/22
- Biometric completed on 3/5
- Interview on 9/2
