USCIS naturalization interview experience:
The interview process was pretty smooth.
The English listening and writing test was super easy.
Civic test passed with 6/6 correct answers
I let the USCIS officer know that I needed to amend the application because I got married after I submitted the original application. I brought a certified copy of the marriage certificate and the officer made the changes on the fly.
Passport : I brought both my expired passport (with the stamps from international flights) and my brand new passport (which hasn't been stamped yet, but, obviously, it's unexpired). The officer checked the stamps on the expired passport and made a copy of the information page of the new passport.
I'm now waiting for the notice about the Oath of Allegiance ceremony, which will take place at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA. I don't expect the Oath to be scheduled in April at the latest, but I'll update this post as soon as I get the actual notice.

Interview Experience:
I had appointment at 7:25 Am, reached at 7:00 Am, did the security check and got a number assigned and sat in the waiting area. They call numbers at a random, I was called in at 7:45. My IO was a Hispanic lady who was not friendly, rude and strict.
Mine was a marriage based application (filed after 5 years due to divorce and I am eligible under 5 year rule as a permanent resident) , but my I-751 application was approved, before my divorce became finalized. I had hired an attorney back in the day to change my application to divorce petition, but Memo published by USCIS states that if divorce is not finalized, the I-751 petition can be treated as a joint petition. Anyways, back to today........
I had all my papers lying on the table, she commented saying put it back in the folder. After that Finished my civics, reading and writing test. And then she started asking me about divorce, when you filed, why didn't you let us know? I showed her paperwork that we did notify USCIS, but she kept pressing about a document that "USCIS received it", I was thinking, if USCIS didn't send me the document how the hell is that my problem, but kept a poker face and told her about the USCIS memo and this might have irked her. At this point I was convinced, I am going to get a decision cannot be made, and all I could do was pray!
Then she went over the Yes/No questions, and asked me to verify information on the screen that will appear on my naturalization certificate. That's where I realized that there is hope and she handed me over the approval document and information about naturalization ceremony. No congratulations nothing and made a comment saying" You could have let us know, it would have given us enough time blah blah" At this time, I just said I understand my attorney might have mislead me and I walked out.
By law, I am elgibile based on 5 year requirement, but she made sure to give me her peace of mind. My status online has not changed yet, hope that it turns to Oath ceremony scheduled, so I can breathe a sign of relief.

questing to all anyone having same issue!!
My husband has his Citizenship Interview yesterday and we got really disappointed. He passed his reading, writing, and Civic test in first 5 minutes. After that he had a conversation on many different topics like family, kids, work, business. The officer was really not nice and asked questions within 45 minutes jumping from one topic to another. After that, he asked if my husband ever voted in US. He replied NO. The officer had a really heavy accent and sometimes it was not easy to understand him. He asked some other question about voting which my husband was not sure what the officer asking and asked the officer to repeat the question in a different way. The officer said he doesn't have to to repeat the question and said that my husband need to have a second interview as he doesn't speak and understand English. My husband was really shoked. He passed all tests, he talked to the officer for 44 minutes... He owes the business and 30% of his day on the phone with customers and vendors and.... according to the officer he doesn't speak and understand English.
We really don't know what to do now. Should we send a complaint? It was really obvious too that the officer had a really bad attitude and was speaking to my husband not in a nice manner during the Interview.
It’s time to share my experience and I hope it helps those of you who are waiting for their interview in Los Angeles:

Interview experience..
We got to the office around 8.50am for a 9.15am interview.we came with our two young kids not because of added advantage but because nowhere to leave them that morning.
After passing through security and properly checked in..I was called in at exactly 9am.went with my younger kid and the IO was strict and professional all through with no kind gesture of any kind. After confirming my identity, date of birth and address, the first question was why are you here and why do you want to be a citizen. I was a bit surprised but maintained my cool and answered him honestly .
He proceeded by asking who was Abraham Lincoln and later asked me to write my answer on the pad in from of me.He later rushed through the other five questions and the yes and no part of the application.
He later gave me a paper without making any comment and had to quickly read where it was marked to be sure what was there.
I asked him when the oath was likely to take place,he asked if I have an impending trip which I answered yes. He said I should not worry that it would come up early enough.
The whole interview took 7mins and my spouse own took 10mins. We left the building around 9.15am and before we got home,my status has changed to you attended your interview and after an hour later, status changed again to we approved your application. The following morning, status changed to we scheduled your oath ceremony.
Naturalization ceremony day..
The ceremony was scheduled for 10.30am at st Paul river center.parking was easy and the ballroom was filled with celebrants and their families.
The presiding judge announced that 830 new citizens from 91 countries were there for the ceremony and at exactly 11.am,we formally became an America citizen.
The whole ceremony lasted around 45mins.
In all,the naturalization process took 6months 17days.
