Citizens can vote. I got all correct and the IO officer went straight to my forms the usual yes or no questions and to be honest she never ask me to explain the meaning of these Genocide, totalitarian party, communist party etc.The easiest interview I ever had in my life. I over studied😂😁. The IO asked if I will be able to come for oath ceremony on November 15,2019? Without any hesitation i said yess. She asked me to do the final signing and she walked me to a new office, I waited for like 7minutes and i was called and my path ceremony letter was handed to me. Good luck to everyone in line for interview.

I have my oath ceremony scheduled for next week (nyc) and unfortunately received a moving violations ticket (improper left turn) 3 days ago as a taxi driver.
I am so worried since I need to disclose it in my oath letter.

Can anyone advise about this situation

Eligibility for Citizenship
My dad is thinking about applying for his citizenship. The problem is that, he has spent more days outside of the country (Our home country) than within the US. Mostly due to his old age (65) because he is more comfortable in our home country. According to my calculation,

Total Days in the US within 5 years - 558 days, 1 year, 193 days
Total Days outside of the US within 5 years - 1183 Days, 3 years and 88 days.

Should he go ahead and apply or try to improve on staying more in the US before he applies?

Thanks.

Decision Cannot be made, 751 pending
HI, just looking for advice/similar experience:

Houston Office:
09/06/2018: We received your n400 application
09/24/2018: We received your biometrics
07/25/2019: Interview Schedule - > Result" Decision cannot be made"

I applied for n400 as soon my dates applied, with the 751 still pending (Houston office is soooo slow)

I went to the n400 interview with my husband, the officer refused to let him in, said it was not a combo interview. Interview was kind of rough, I felt She didn't liked me. Asked me a LOT of question about my life and marriage, asked for new evidence, I answered everything, had every paper.

At the end she said she had everything she needed, gave me the paper that said "decision cannot be made" because she she wanted to review my paperwork because of my 751 pending.
I have a regular marriage, kids, all accounts together, I never go out of the country for more than 2 weeks a year, usually to Mexico, no criminal history, no tickets, very boring normal life, haha.

100 days later no news at all, not online, not on paper,, online still saying "interview scheduled". I tried to schedule infopass ac couple of times but they said I had not enough reason for an appointment, said keep waiting. They do filed a "review reminder" to my officer about a week ago.

Im getting nervous. Already thinking about my next options. I dont want to hire a lawyer:
-Congressman letter?
-Email /letters to uscis? Not sure what address or email to send them tho.

Also, someone posted about a CIS Ombudsman .. Not sure how that one works.

Thanks! Ill keep updating.
