N600 Experience & Assistance in Name Change
My experience in Chicago:

Application received 10/1/2018
In line for Oath Ceremony to be scheduled 5/7/2019
Oath Ceremony Letter mailed 7/17/2019
Oath Ceremony 8/21/2019

There were approximately 100 people sworn in representing 41 countries. Appointment was at 12:00 at which time they started directing you to the check-in station row by row where you were seated in the waiting room. (I was in the first row so I was one of the first ones to check in but by the time everyone was checked in, it was over an hour.) Checking in is surrendering the oath letter and your permanent residence card and you submit your signature by signing on a paper twice. This is a nonjudicial ceremony/administrative ceremony performed by an USCIS officer since N600 involves no name change.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Now, here's where I need assistance, suggestion:

I found out through N600 process that my legal name wasn't my "American" name. I always assumed my American name was my legal name since that has been the name I've been using since I came to USA. We came here when I was 7 and my parents naturalized when I was 14. We were enrolled in school with an American first name: Kathy Kim instead of Song Kim (birth name). However, my Citizenship Certificate was issued with my legal name: Song Jones (married and I took hubby's name). Now, all my IDs, legal documents are under Kathy Jones except for my Citizenship Certificate which has Song Jones since my first name was never legally changed by my parents, rather they must've used the "common law" name and all institutions accepted that (DD214, driver's license, SSN, mortgage).

I actually don't care going back to the name "Song" (Korean name) instead of "Kathy" (American" name since "Song" is my legal name but it appears that I need a proof (court order name change document) of a name change. Confusing? Yes! Since I'm not changing my name, I'm accepting my legal name but I have nothing proving that "Song" is "Kathy" with having a legal name change? In other words, getting a new SSN that matches my Citizenship Certificate but how do I prove it?

Requested a name change during my Interview
I have finished my interview 8/8/2019 it was great and super smooth. I had requested a name change on my N400 application and did confirm it with USCIS interviewer. He refused to give me any estimate date of when i will get my oath ceremony. I now in this case i have to take the oath in the Courthouse not a USCIS authorized officer. I do live in North Dallas and wanted to see if anyone had the same situation and can help me with estimate waiting time. I have heard from someone that it can take more than 1 year is possible????
Please assist your feedback id greatly appreciated

Got call for N-400 interview reschulde while my i-751 is still pending
I hope everyone is doing great. I'm wondering if anyone is in a similar situation as mine and if they have any input. I know have to be patience but i got worried as my interview got rescheduled.
Here is the Description of both ( Cases are in California):

#Note that my filings are based on marriage.Came to US in June 2016. I have 2 pending cases(i-751 & N-400).

#I-751 Case Status#

Case Applied : June 2018
Received extension Letter: July 12. 2018
Bio-Metrics: March 11, 2019
Request Additional Evidence : July 18, 2019
Received Additional Evidence : August 28, 2019

Case is still pending for Answer. I am worried because my GC is going to be expire in Dec 2019 as per extension letter.

#N-400 Naturalization Case status#

Case Applied : May 16, 2019
Schedule Bio-Metrics: May 18, 2019
Bio- Metrics Done: June 5, 2019
Received Interview Letter: August 7, 2019
Interview scheduled: September 9, 2019

But 2 days before interview i got a call from (USCIS FRESNO CA) center where they schedule my interview that they haven't receive my file yet so they are rescheduling my interview and let me know through MAIL as well as i can check online(Online status is still showing "We scheduled your interview"). I cross check about when they will reschedule my interview as per that officer if they receive my file within week it will be in next 35 days. So i am wondering is that normal or happen to anyone else.
As i know N-400 is take upto year to get approved these days and mine went fast within months thats why i am little more worried about it. I already prepared for civics test and was too excited about my interview. Now i still have to wait until get called again. My case is very clean whatever papers they mentioned for I-751 I sent them with some extra proofs of my marriage (Bone fied letter, Mortgage Paper etc.) I applied N-400 online and upload all the proofs they needed.

Please Give your replies if anyone have same situation or know anything. I would appericiate your reviews & suggestions.

Thanks.

Just wanted to share my experience:

Application received: 4/28/2019
Biometrics Appointment Scheduled: 5/3/2019
Biometrics Appointment: 5/20/2019
Interview Scheduled: 7/26/2019
Interview: 9/9/2019
Application Approved: 9/9/2019
Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled: 9/9/2019
Naturalization Ceremony Date: 9/26/2019

The officer for my interview was very nice and the whole process took about 15 minutes. We went through some basic info already on the application, and I updated him with the trip outside of US I took for vacation/work (he brought it up first and it’s already in the system). Then quick English reading and writing test, followed by 6 civic questions. He recommended me for approval and congratulated me at the end. I’m excited for the oath ceremony!

Orlando _ N400 interview
Applied: December 2018
Bio-Metrics: Jan 2019
Interview Letter: 06.26.2019
Interview: 08/06/2019
RFE: 08/08/2019
Response sent: 08/29/2019

Cleared Civic & English test IO was not friendly at all and mostly concerned about my children from first marriage and how I am supporting them, though I told him that there's no court orders to provide child support but I am supporting them unconditionally with whatever they need, but he said as a proof of my moral character I need to get an affidavit from my ex.

At the end of the interview I was given N -652 form stating that the decision cannot be made yet about your application, within next 2 days received a RFE asking for proof of marital status and proof of child support given to the ex spouse from 1st marriage. Hired a lawyer and prepared the reply with 30 different evidences on marital union and provided an affidavit from the mother of my children stating exactly what type of support I provide to the children.

Sent all the documents on 08/29 now waiting, no updates yet. Does anyone having the same situation?
