N400 Portland OR
Hello,

Is there anyone here who currently waiting or already been approved for their naturalizations application based on a 3 year rule? I submitted my application April 24, done bio May 24, since then my status still ‘ we reviewed your biometrics’ and my estimated completion time is November 2019. I worried about why it taking so long to get an interview schedule is due to my husband and I filled taxes in 2016 separate due to my husband owed the IRs a lot of money from previous marriage. We filled jointly the following year, but last year we filed an extensions. I appreciate any comments or share your experienced. Thanks

N-400 need help in estimated wait time in order to travel internationally
Hi dear folks, I need suggestions regarding my intention to travel internationally for 3-4 weeks while my citizenship application is submitted. Status:
1- Applied in April 2019
2- Biometrics done within 3-4 weeks
4- Now my 'estimated case completion time' on USCIS website is 7 months.
-> What does this mean process wise? Does this mean my interview will be scheduled in 7 months from today or does it mean everything including oath ceremony will be done in maximum 7 months (because it says case COMPLETION time and not wait time)
-> Also I need to travel in April 2020 internationally for 3-4 weeks. 7 months from today is April 2020. SO at the most i can squeeze it to March till april 1st week. Does this look like a safe travel plan so that Im back to US before my interview?
-> If anyone can give me a rough idea on what a safe travel plan/ dates should be please?
-> Also how much time does USCIS give u to plan and get ready for the interview after they send out the interview notice? So that even if Im not in US when they send out the notice, I can check it online( the notice) and then should have enough time to get back to the US even if they schedule interview during my vacation.
Thanks a lot!

N 400, estimate waiting time and estimated completion time
Hello guy's,
I try to go through most of the comments , suggestions and answers
On the citizens application. But I still find it difficult to find any explanation on,
Estimated Wait Time and estimated completion time. I want to know the difference.
I have 23days more on my estimated Wait Time and 2months completion time on my case
My question is
1. Would I get the interview date just after the wait time
Or 2. The interview will be after the case completion time?

N400. Dallas, TX
My interview was scheduled for July 15, 2019 at the Dallas field office in Irving. I however got an email that day informing me that the interview was cancelled due to a burst water pipe at the office and the interview will be scheduled at another date. Till now, it has still not been rescheduled. I have called USCIS several times and even spoken to a Tier 2 officer and I keep getting the same response - They have no idea when it will be rescheduled and I should keep waiting. I have reached out to my US representative for help and still no response. The Dallas field office has been scheduling interviews recently so I don’t know what is going on.

Anyone here with a similar experience or thoughts on what else I can do?
