Nice staff
My interview was in Philadelphia office on 41st street few days ago. The staff in the USCIS office was extremely polite and very helping. They announced my name on time, officer shook hand and walked me to his office. Asked me if I am expecting a lawyer then asked to raise my right hand and to take oath that everything I would say would be all truth and nothing but truth. Asked me to be seated, took my picture with computer camera, verified the GC, the invitation letter and ID, verified me with my finger prints, downloaded questions for me and complained about slow computers which will be upgraded soon. Questions were about constitution and about civil war etc.

Once questions were answered he asked me if I want my name to be changed, went over all the yes/no questions randomly, be careful some questions are no and some yes so make sure to listen carefully before answering.

Next step was to read a question from the ipad screen and write the answer on the ipad screen. which completes my reading/writing test.

While waiting for computer to print results he pleasantly talked a little bit about my case and informed me that he is approving my case and recommending for oath ceremony. I would receive a letter in mail in few days with the date of Oath ceremony. If you have any travel plans you can request a date change for oath ceremony.

lived outside country for first 18th months of 5 year window
Hi Everyone,

Can someone with experience help me get some clarity on this situation. The first 18 months of my current 5 year window was outside the US and I filed by taxes with that address. However, I came back to US for visits every 5 months. Since then, I have been living in the US.

Do I have a chance of getting approved, when my address on the form for those 18 months is outside the country. I plan on getting a lawyer, but most lawyers said they won't attend the interview, should I get a lawyer that will attend?

Anyone else that had a similar situation?

Thanks

Hi everyone!!
I applied Dec 16, 2018 and I did my fingerprint Jan 2, 2019 and my status is still showing Case Is Being Actively Reviewed. And Estimated wait time: 5 months. So now I’m going to move to another apartment next month in same city and state. My question is Must I change my address from the website or I have to send the new lease to them ?

Thank you

Hello everyone, I have a question. I passed my interview on May 31, 2019. Later, I check my online status, and it said " Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed ". Since it was over 10 days and while I spoke to IO over the phone, they said my schedule will be June 19, 2019 but today is June 13 and I did not receive letter yet. Any recommendation for me.
