Hi everyone this forum gives me a lot of answers to my questions so I decided to share my time line..
Submitted application online March 30 2018
Status changed overnight for biometrics online.
Got the letter for biometrics on April 4th 2018
Finished biometrics April 16
September 28 2018 my status changed to we have scedule your interview Which was suppose to happend today but as I was getting ready for interview I got a call from immigration office saying they will resecdule my interview ASAP don’t know what is the reason is it because the office was close on Saturday?

Dallas (Irving) - Passport Application after Oath Ceremony
From experience, does anyone know if people are able to apply for a US Passport at the Dallas (Irving) USCIS location after the US Citizenship Oath Ceremony? If so, do they take pictures there or do I need to take passport size pictures with me? What else do they ask for?

I thought an update would be helpful for those of you who have been waiting for a long time. I thought Miami FO was far behind but it seems they are speeding up a bit. I had an infopass in September 2018 and they told me they were processing January 2017.....clearly not true.

Long wait!! Still waiting for an interview 17 months!!

.......... nothing after (the status still shows in line for interview)
Long wait almost 17 months no interview!
I tried infopass (twice) contact the 800 number 3 times, and spoke to Officer L2
I did the online request.. still nothing all the answers are “your background is pending”!!
Please share any experience, it is a tough situation ? I will really appreciate it any info.

07/17/17 - PD.
08/10/17 - Biometrics & Fingerprint.
08/28/17 - On line status: "Case is in line for Interview".
09/13/18 - On line status: "Interview was scheduled".
09/17/18 - Interview Notice was received in the mail.
10/18/18 - Interview date ("Decision cannot be made yet at this time").
10/29/18 - On line status: "In line for Oath Ceremony", then changed to "Oath Ceremony Notice was mailed".
10/31/18 - Oath Ceremony Notice was received in the mail.
11/08/18 - Oath Ceremony date.
Then, apply for U.S Passport.

Oath taking ...Boston /Faneuil Hall
My timeline P.D..june 22/2018 Finger Printing July 16th/2018 ... Interview October 18th /2018 .... Oath taking Nov.1st/2018...........the whole process took 4 months and 8days ..... will be applying for expedited passport tomorrow since i have a international trip coming up in 2nd week of November ..... Overall todays oath taking was a overwhelming experience i had tears in my eyes repeatedly if there was open space i would have cried too ....leaving my birth country behind a new journey has begun ...and when we take this road there are multiple reasons.. Long live America ..one country which absorbs us all.
