Waiting for Oath letter - Las Vegas
I did my interview exactly a month a go (09/06), and so far no letter and no update online, still showing we schedule your interview. Does anyone here had the same experience? I’m in Las Vegas.

Dallas N400 Interview
Just interviewed moment ago. First, 2 reading and writing questions. Then 6 civic questions. All are very simple and common. Then went through n400 questions. Pretty smooth, about 15 minutes. The officer recommended for approval. Now I'm on the way back home.

Question - The officer said will receive oath notice usually with one week or two. Currently will have the oath one or two months later. I didn't ask for more info. Will we wait even two months after interview to get oath? Is there anyone recently pass the interview can share the process time to oath?

Thanks for all of you! Good luck!

N/400
My wife recently had her interview, The IO gave decision cannot be made .
Passed everything in the interview, gave no reason for the decision.
A few days went by IO called said she needs to return and do some signing, and wanted to know if she will keep her middle name, said yes.
One week later we receive letter from IO saying for her to return and complete N/ 400, one month from the interview,
I’m looking to see if anybody had same experience.
We’re hoping after she does her second interview she can have the Oath Ceremony.l know everyone is waiting along time to become a citizen!!
It’s a good thing if you can get your citizenship now before it’s much harder
Once again just asking if someone had the same experience as my wife, we believe there will a possive out come.
Good luck to everyone.......

San Francisco
Hi all,

Here is the timeline for my N-400 Naturalization application for San Francisco.

Application submitted - early October 2017
Application Date received - 10-12-2017
Fingerprints - 11-8-2017
In Line for Interview - 11-13-2017
Received Interview Date - 9-5-2018
Interview at San Francisco office - 10-2-2018

Thanks to a couple of accidents, it took me nearly 2 hours to get from Oakland to San Francisco! Interview time was 10:05 AM. I arrived at the office at 9:55 AM. No line for security, but that seemed unusual because the guards were remarking that there usually was a line.

Went upstairs, checked in at Window A. Then went to Window B. They presented me with my passport application packet and advised me to wait in the C waiting area. My attorney met me there and advised me that her earlier appointment had been 15 minutes late.

I was called into the interview at approximately 10:20 AM. The officer was very nice, spoke slowly, and was patient with me. I did the questions first (got all 6 right the first time!) and then he asked me how many senators there were. I answered, "100". He had me write, "We have 100 senators."

We went through my application and he was very helpful. I had memorized a lot of dates and times, but he simply verified a lot of the information. He updated a couple of things that had occurred since I filed my application and then let me know that he was recommending me for approval! I was so excited and relieved that I nearly cried, but I held back. I just said, "Thank you so much!"

Now just waiting for an oath ceremony date. (My status online has not changed yet.)

Good luck to everyone! It has taken me nearly seven years to reach this point and I am so excited to become a US citizen. The process is long, but worth it. Hang in there.

Documents to take for Oath Ceremony
Other than n-445, n-652 and Greencard and what documents to take. I came here on F1, then H1, then GC. Do I have to take all filing/approval documents?

El paso Tx update
UPDATE:
had the interview yesterday. On my letter it said only to bring my greencard, ID and Social security card along with the letter but to be safe i took everything from my tax transcripts to passport and birth certificates (Everything haha). Interview was alot easier than what i read here on the forum. The IO asked the long list of yes and no questions then went straight into the civics and english test. Didnt even go through my application. I signed the oath ceremony stuff and was done and was recommended for approval. I was out in less than ten minutes. Status online changed to Approved and estimated time changed from 11 months to 5months but the io said that in the next 4-6 weeks i should recieve the letter for the oath ceremony.
My IO was very intimidating haha he wouldnt break eye contact no smile nothing until the very end when he said congratulations.

The processing times are intimidating for some FO but i advise that you ignore the numbers (unless its taking too long ofcourse) and have faith. When i last checked my FO processing times it was 11.5mo to 18mo. Goodluck and keep sharing experiences! It truly helps :) ill be back with an update.

Ps i filed using online and i did the 90day filing.
