Here is my journey:
Oct /04/17 uscis recived my application.
Nov/01/17 finger print done.
My online status it didn’t change since they recived my application.
I did called a lot ,but all them say be patient and wait.
August/09/18 my online status change to in line for interview.
A week later on August/16/18 online status change to we scheduled your interview...
2 days after that I got the appointment letter for the interview.
September/20/2018 I past the interview. The IO was professional and nice .the interview took 15 minutes.after I finish the interview IO ask me to wait few minutes.i waited 30 minutes and they called my name and hand me my appointment letter for the oath ceremony.
Today September 26/18 I had my oath and become an American. Iam so happy,and I want to thank everyone share their experience in this website.good luck for everybody and god bless America

For those who have just completed the Oath Ceremony and received U.S citizenship certificate, please exercise your right to vote for midterm election in Nov 2018.
Please vote for your representatives who support and will do something to improve and make the immigration services better and faster. The current process is WAY too slow.
WARNING: Participating in any election if you are not a U.S citizen (yet), will result in jail time & deportation because it's considered federal offense.
For the new U.S citizens, pease check the link below and register to vote for midterm election in Nov this year (in 6 weeks).

Expedite oath ceremony
Today my wife contacted IO because of the missing oath ceremony. He said that he expedited oath ceremony request to the local uscis. What’s that mean. She missed the oath because she’ did not receive the letter.

Oath Ceremony Notice
I had my interview 9/11/2018 and the IO said i should be getting it by the end of the month but the ends in 4-5days from today. I am so nervous, I really just want to know so I can make other plans. Ps I have an international trip in Dec which I need a passport and visa for.

Dallas Office/No oath letter.
Had my interview on 08/21/2108 at Dallas office. It was simple and the IO gave me the congratulations letter. She said that oath letter should be in the mail in 2-3 weeks.
However I have not received anything yet as of day. No any updates with online status.
I had an infopass and went to the Dallas office about 5 days ago. The officer said I was still background checked. Why did they interview me if my background has not been cleared?
Is anyone at the same situation?
