Recommended for approval
My wife and I had an interview today and we were recommended for approval. What is the waiting period for Oath Ceremony in Houston?

Our experience

PD: 6/19/2018
FingerPrint: 7/17/2018
Interview Scheduled: 8/23/2018
Interview: 9/27/2018

Got there 30 min before appt., got thru the line in 10 min and got a waiting ticket. Without much wait we were called for index finger fingerprinting and verification. Another 10 minutes later I got called for the interview. It was pretty straightforward and officer was nice.

Take the oath to tell the truth.
Read a sentence: Where is the White House?
Write a sentence: The White House is in Washington, D.C.
Civic Questions:
What is the Supreme Law of the Land?
   Who vetoes the bills?
What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?
What is the capital of your state?
   What is an amendment?
Who did the United States fight in World War II?

Then went through the application.
Main discussions. May be just looking for details if there is anything concerning.
Why did I wait for so long to apply for citizenship?
Mine was job based, so he asked how long I stayed with the company after I got my GC?
Travel dates: Confirming that I have not traveled since apply for citizenship. I didn't travel so I
don't know what the line of questioning would be if I did.
Marriage and Children: I am assuming, if there was a divorce or something there would have been
                       more discussions there.
Quickly through rest of the questions except the traffic offense ones. I was not sure how they should have been answered and could not find information anywhere so I had put yes for most. He corrected them, confirmed with me that I was not arrested/detained or driver's license suspended. If you only have traffic offenses like speeding, then 22 should be No. 23. Yes and circle cited. Rest of them should be No.

Then some signatures, verifying information that will be there on the Naturalization Certificate and done. Interview took 15 min or less.

My wife was called by a different officer, who was nice also, after I was done. She was running behind schedule. But she took time because she was entering everything on the computer.
Reading: When do we elect the President?
Writing: We elect the President in November.
Civic: The House of Representatives has how many voting members?
We elect a U.S. Representative for how many years?
Who is the Chief Justice of United States now?

She can't remember the rest. Basically all the questions are from the 100 questions. Learn those, the reading and writing words that they have given in the book and you are good.

Dallas INterview?
Anyone can share the insights for Dallas FO?

I have an interview coming up on Octo 18 and I'm planning an international travel the same date.

My appointment is at 9.30 and flight is at 12.44.

How long does the interview take?
Should I mention I have a travel before oath? (I know they ask during oath if you travelled internationally!)

Oath Ceremony
Anyone from Detroit?

I attended the interview in Detroit on 09/06/2018 and was approved. The officer said it would take 2-3 weeks to send the notice of Oath. Haven't received anything yet.

Anyone has/had similar experience? I read somewhere the Detroit office is closed on Mondays. Does 2-3 weeks mean business-working days only?

Thank you
