NYC: I missed an interview...

I missed an interview because never received appointment letter. But I've got mail from USCIS about failure to arrive to an appointment. Next week I visited the USCIS office at Federal Plaza (8 floor) and talk to clerk about it. He took this letter and told me to expect a new appointment.

Does anybody know how much time will take re-schedule new appointment in my case?

Miss oath ceremony.
My wife did her interview on August 23th at federal plaza, NY. On September 7th online status changed to oath ceremony schedule. She never received the oath letter. Today she receives a text message saying that she missed the oath ceremony. They sent her today to reschedule the oath . She always received all letters from immigration. Help please. What she should do right now.

Today (9/24/18), I received an e-mail that contained the following text:
Application Type: N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION

Your Case Status: Testing and Interview

On September 24, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, Receipt Number IOE0xxxxxxxxx. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I tried to check the status online, but status has not been updated online yet. Based on your experience, does this mean that an interview has been scheduled or am I in line for an interview and could be months before the interview?
