My N-400 was rescheduled by officer although I passed my interview more than 120 days ago (Atlanta )
Hi,
I do appreciate if someone can share their experience and advice me what to do .
I file my application July 2016.
Completed my N-400 interview on March 2017 in Atlanta , GA ( passed the test and interview and decision can not yet be made today )
120 days passed and no decision was mailed . When I went for my InfoPass I was asked if I had filed my file electronically ( My case starts with IEO )
I said No. Officer said the same officer woo interviewed me RESCHEDULED A SELF INTERVIEW because my file was submitted electronically and they could not print and system messed up .
I asked what is SELF INTERVIEW , She said notice for reschedule doesnt come from main office and comes from the field office ( Atlanta ) and most probably the same officer .
I asked when would I receive the reschedule ? She said she doesnt know and can not give time .

My question is , what is SELF INTERVIEW and why would they reschedule even though I completed mine ?
Please advice

N-400 from Washington DC field office
Hello everyone,
I found this forum super helpful while I was waiting for my whole citizenship process..

Here is my timeline.
Application mailed and received : 08/12/2016
Finger printing done: 9/1/2016
Loooonggggh wait
USCIS scheduled the interview: 05/29/2017
Waited till June and made a telephone call on 06/15/2017
Interview letter was mailed: 06/29/2017
Interview letter received: 7/5/2017
Interview scheduled for 7/31/2017
Interview completed today.

The IO was exceptionally awesome, truly pleasant and extremely helpful. I had couplenof mistakes in the application I asked him he corrected very sweetly and saying no problem.
One thing I want to mention here that if you have traffic tickets less than $150 fine and not drug or alcohol related please do mention on your application and biggest thing that I missed on was have you ever been convicted? You must say yes if you paid the traffic fines. My IO was extremely understanding ding and he corrected it, I'm very luck otherwise I could be in trouble for that who knows..
I passed all of my civic tests questions as well.
He said in the end congratulations and recommended me for approval and that I will receive the letter in mail for my oath ceremony..
I couldn't be much happier today.. 15 year of struggle and finally I got my fruit.
I wish you all a very best of luck!!!

Timeline Chicago Field Office
Hi good morning! I'd like to share my timeline and hoping someone could shed light in my concerns. Thanks ??

August 2 2016 They received my N400 application
August 6 2016 scheduled for Biometrics
Feb. 4 2017 scheduled for interview
Feb. 12, 2017 Interview re-scheduled April 6
April 6, 2017 Pass the interview but was required to show proof of child support (My kids are in the Philippines)
April 28, 2017 received the RFE
May 15, 2017 submitted my RFE response via FedEx overnight
Haven't heard from the Chicago field office after 76 days. No update online too. Does it really take that long to adjudicate a case like mine? All they asked is a proof of child support and I submitted a copy of my Western Union transaction from 2009 to present (Western Union could only provide infos from 2009 due to some restrictions). Is it time to panic? Any comments/opinions will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone from May-June 2016 waiting for interview after fingerprinting?
Hello there, I have not heard back about my interview since June 2016, have made countless calls to USCIS customer service, reached out to congressman, senator, Ombudsman office, and InfoPass appointments but they are saying background check is still pending. Besides few minor traffic tickets, I have a clean background. I also consulted few lawyers and they say if it's the background check, there is nothing you can do until it is compete. I am totally lost on what should I do. It's been over an year now. Need some advice from you on what should I do.
