Waiting for Interview Notice
Hi: Does anyone know how long it takes to get the Interview Notice after the case status has changed to "Interview was scheduled"? My field office is NY City.

Here's my timeline:

*July 8, 2016: Application was mailed for overnight delivery

*August 1, 2016: Biometrics was done

*January 11, 2017 (today): Status message was received that says: "Interview Was Scheduled. On January 10, 2017, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice..."

When might I receive the Notice and roughly how much time will I be given to trepare for the interview?

Thank you in advance for any information.

Anyone in Atlanta Waiting for a decision or oath letter
I went for my interview on November 21st, i was told a decision cant be made, the IO said a supervisor would need to sign off on it and it should take about 2 weeks before i hear back., I called USCIS and spoke to L2 reps at least 3 times during the month of December, they all told me to keep waiting that the supervisor had not gotten to my case yet. So i call Friday 6th of Feb, and this time the L2 officer actually tells me to hold on, then after a few minutes he comes back and tells me the supervisor signed off my on application on December 7th. I then ask why that was not updated online then he asks me to hold again then comes back and tells me he sent the IO a message asking him to get back to me with info on my case, that i should hear back from someone within 2 weeks.
These L2 officers are lazy, they will say whatever they need to tell you to get you off the phone as quick as possible without actually looking at your case specifics. Anyways still no update online and still haven't heard back from anyone although it hasnt been 2 weeks yet.

I applied May 5th, it seems like its taking a really long time, Its been almost 2 months after the interview and still nothing. Anyone in going through something similar in Atlanta

1-09-2017: No email or text message, however online status for my wife N-400 status changed. It is now "Case Is In Line For An Interview". We started the interview scheduling process for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC*ZZZ. We will send you an interview notice.

Is this different from "your interview has been scheduled"
Also does it mean that my case will also come up for interview as my wife's case depends on mine?
