N400 interview San Bernardino
My dates are:
Application sent: September 13
Biometrics done: October 11
Interview: December 29
My interview was today at 12pm in San Bernardino, CA. My husband, baby and I arrived at 11:20 went through security and we were at the waiting room all checked-in by 11:25. There was not many people there. We waited till they called me at 12:08. I went in and the officer started with the civics questions right away. All I remember was The house of representatives has how many voting members? For how long do we elect a representative? What's one war that we fought in the 1900's? Then he looked at my passport, green card and drivers license. He then made me read "Washington is the father of our country" and made me write "Washington was the first president" Asked me if I had taken a trip outside the US for more than 6 months. I said no. We then went over the entire application and everything was really fast. He then said Congratulations I'll recommend your application for approval and you'll be receiving your oath ceremony letter in the mail. I said thank you and was out by 12:20!! I'm so happy everything went so well thank you God!

N-400 Newark
Almost 6 months after I mailed my application (beginning of July), I just received a text message today about a change of status of my case. I logged in and saw that the status has changed to "Interview was scheduled" and of course my case starts with IOE...

As a side note, I checked the status this morning which was still "finger printing scheduled", so I think the text message alert is working. LOL.

N400 -A decision cannot be made at your application
I attended N400 (citizenship) interview at 9.00 AM, 12/07/2016. Everything is completed (civic test, reading test, writing test, and application related questions) and declared as passed. IO said, "You are all done sir and congratulations”. Once entered all my details into the system and click submit for approval, system does not accept and displays some message saying "Days are less for eligibility (I didn't see that message directly . IO told me like that). He tried his level best by changing the dates and options, verified my record book and told me that the system does not accept approval due to lack of days for eligibility from GC date . I do not know the reason (like some days less than 5 years or 4.9 years).

 Below are my details.

GC issued date: 07/27/2011.
Out of USA 3 times (15 days in 2013, 35 days in 2014 and 30 days in 2016.So total 80 days)
 Application mailed to USCIS: 06/29/2016.
Priority Date on receipt notice: 07/04/2016.
Therefore, as per sent date 06/29/2016 or receipt date 07/04/2016, my application is eligible for approval (Approximately 4.11 months from GC date) but system does not allow him to approve.

After tried one hour, he gave N 652 notice with “test passed” status with "A decision cannot be made yet about your application” and says that USCIS will notify you the updates within 2 to 3 weeks (max 120 days). My supervisor will verify your application and find where the problem is.

Has anybody have same problem and result recently? Please share with me. It will be appreciated.

Thanks,
YYYY ZZZ.
