Mailed by express priority mail to Louisville, Texas on October 3, 2016.
Received there at USCIS on October 14. Delivery confirmation email shows name of receiver.
Acknowledged receipt of package October 31, as stated on case status site.
Received receipt in mail on November 2.
Received biometrics letter on November 7 to do biometrics on November 14.
Case status site on November 16 states my application is in line for interview.
I have since checked the site link given below and it says the NBC service center [ where my application was sent] and it states a present processing time of 2.5 months at the end of September .

Upstate New York
I mailed my application to the Texas inbox.

05/17/2016- Mailed my application

05/20/2016-Application Received.

05/28/2016-Received My biometric appointment.

06/17/2016-Biometric Schedule Date. Btw, I went early to my biometric appointment(06/0/2016) and also to a different location field. It doesn't matter if you go early, or to a different field. Reason why I did that is because, it was closer and less crowded.

11/01/2016-Received my interview Date.

12/07/2016-Interview, In NYC.

Long wait in Detroit
Hello,

I sent my paperwork on the 1st week of July, got my Biometrics done on the 1st week of August.
Since then, nothing changed.

I called last week to check on the status (we're about to move out of the country for my husband's job) and it looks like I'll have to stay behind until this long process is done. They said that they could see that Detroit were 2 months behind, which means that I still have to wait 2 months from now to be contacted about the interview.

Tomorrow I have an appointment (InfoPass). The person on the phone said that if I wanted more information, since I was already on the 6 month limbo, I could request an appointment and they maybe could give me more information.

I'll let you guys know about the update.

*I have an IOE number. 2 friends of mine, who were 1 month and 2 weeks ahead of me are done already with the process. The 1st one went thru the process in 2 months and the 2nd in 4 months. They both had NBC numbers.

My experience and confusion
Dear all,
Here are my experience and questions. I am in KY.
8/5: Sent N400 application
8/15: accepted, assign IOE #
8/20: scheduled fingerprint
9/6: had fingerprint done
then waiting, no update, until yesterday I log in and found in Status Message: "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointemnt and will mail you teh appointment notice."

Since I have not log into my account for many days, I do not know how long this message has been there, and I did not receive any notice by text, email or regular mail. So I called custom service, they told me they only see the appointment for fingerprint, no other updates. Now I got very confused. Did anybody else has similar experience? Does this message refer to fingerprint notice, which i have received and done 3 months ago, or that means I am waiting for local office interview? anything else I can do, or just wait? Thanks a lot for the help.

Fairfax Field Office
Anybody else in the Fairfax VA (Washington D.C) area?

I had my interview yesterday 12/6/16 and everything went smoothly. At the end of the interview the IO gives me "a decision cannot be made yet." I asked her if anything was wrong with my application and she says that they just need to review my file because they just switched to a new system and everything is being done electronically and they need to verify some things in the new system. I am still worried because I was expecting to be approved at the end of the interview. I passed the civics, reading and writing test, however. Did anybody else go to the Fairfax VA field office recently and get this same decision?

Thanks!
