Interview coming up.
Hi everyone, interview is coming up June 16th. I was wondering if anyone can share their experience for the San Bernardino office. Do you have the oath ceremony same day? If my passport from my country is expired will that be any issue? Thank you in advance

Interview Question
Since the interview notice does not specify bringing your spouse, have you all been going in alone and have your spouse on stand by outside just in case. I have my interview coming up soon and just want to cover my basis. Thanks in advance.

Estimated time until case decision
I filed my N-400 form on November 2, 2020, and it shows on my online account that the USCIS reused my biometric on February 1, 2021
I just checked my case and it shows estimated time until case decision (26 days), but I haven’t received an interview invitation yet.
Did anyone have the same experience?

USCIS Eases Visitor Restrictions for Fully Vaccinated Individuals

Release Date

05/27/2021

Due to updated guidance from the CDC, USCIS has updated its visitor policy. Fully vaccinated individuals no longer have to wear a face covering. Individuals two years old and older who are not fully vaccinated must still wear a face covering.

To be considered fully vaccinated, it must be at least two weeks after receiving a second dose in a two-dose series or at least two weeks after receiving a dose of a single-dose vaccine.

USCIS has eased other requirements for fully vaccinated individuals who do not have COVID-19 symptoms. Those who have returned from domestic air, international air or cruise ship travel in the past 10 days may enter USCIS facilities if they are fully vaccinated. Individuals who have been in close contact (within six feet for a total of 15 minutes or more) with anyone known to have COVID-19 in the previous 14 days may also enter USCIS facilities if they are fully vaccinated. Healthcare workers who consistently wear an N95 respirator and proper personal protective equipment or equivalent when in contact with COVID-19 positive individuals continue to be exempt from reporting close contact.

In DHS-controlled spaces, this guidance supersedes state, local, tribal, or territorial rules and regulations regarding face coverings.

For more information, see our USCIS Visitor Policy.

Passport application in NYC
I wanted to post my experience just in case some of you guys have questions regarding passport application.
I scheduled for submitting my passport application through usps about 1 month I become a citizen.
I applied for my passport through the “Routine” process at USPS 2 days after I received my naturalization certificate and it took 25 days that department of state sent me the acknowledgment email of receipt of my application document. Department of state says it takes 10-12 weeks for “Routine” process to issue new passport, but only 24 days after they received my application and depositing the check they issued and shipped my passport.
Hope this piece of info helps you guys.
