N400 Name Change Reversal During Interview
Hello! I finally have an interview for May 25 at the Dallas Field Office...I originally submitted my N400 application online on March 18, 2020. When I filled out my application I requested a name change because I got married back in 2019, but now I'm wondering if I can keep my name as is and have the immigration officer at the interview change my request during the interview because I don't want to wait months to get my oath letter. I've heard it's taking forever for the judges to approve the name changes which is needed before you get your oath letter and finalize your citizenship.

I would rather be a citizen asap and change my name later with my husband. Anybody of insight on what I'm wanting to do?

Thank you in advance!

Dallas name change judicial oath
Good news. Myself and my family members have received judicial oath ceremony notice for 14-May 1:30pm at USCIS Dallas field office. Finally my citizenship journey is closer to a happy ending. I have filed my N400 on 12-Dec-2019.

Did anyone else received oath letter?

Connecticut processing time for N400
I am about to submit my N400 application and would like to know the actual processing time in CT for the N400 application.

Appreciate if anyone with similar experience can share the timeline like how long does it take to receive the biometric appointment and how many months it takes to get to the actual interview? I know the Uscis website says it is 13 months but I see some folks had the initial completion date after 12 months then it got preponed to earlier date.

Thanks to anyone who cares to share

Did anyone from Sacramento had their interview in April and receive the oath letter?
