Visa approved but administrative processing
My brother in Ghana question

I applied for a B1 B2 Visa and I got approved on interview day verbally but i got home and realize administrative processing

I check on my d160 forms copies I saved at home and realize I had made a mistake on the forms I submitted.I was able tick the refusal question if I was ever refused before and I said YES because I was once refused USA VISA in 2013.I had known my real dad when I grew up so I had changed my full name in 2014 at court to my real dads name and I forgot to write that on the D160 forms(other names). Will this be the problem that’s why it’s on AP?what am I suppose to do now because I have all documents and affidavit of name change legally. The consular didn’t ask any question related to that because I carried all my documents to the interview.

Apply a B2 visa after losing passport with B1 Visa
Hello, I wonder if there is someone who had the same experience with me. I am a single 27 years old lady, Indonesian nationality. I have been living and working in Tokyo as a product development engineer in one of the biggest Japanese industrial automation company. Last year i was granted a 5 year multientry visa for my business trip to Dallas, Texas. I was planned to be there for 36 days and unfortunately had to extend my stay for 10 days to reissue my lost passport with a US B1 visa in it and was needed to reapply for re-entry permit to Japan. Now i have my reissued passport from last october then now i wanted to apply B2 visa for tourism myself to Newyork and possibly DC. I heard that there are a lot of cases that a young woman will get rejected, will there be a higher chance if you ever been granted a visa before but with a B1 category? Then, what should i prepare for the interview? Thank you

During the interview were calm n answered confidently.

My suggestion please b confident trust yourself. Please remember the basic details what you gave at the time of applying for the interview in DS-160 Don't give mismatch information or manupilate the information.

Rest depends on the Visa officer

Sponsor
Hi friends. I am currently in US and my parents have visitor visa interview in a couple of days.

I have two queries…

I have not mentioned any where in DS 160 that I will be the sponsor to my parents. I have, however, forwarded all the required documents viz. my Bank verification letter, Salary slips and bank a/c statements for the last 6 months. Please guide me as to what my parents should say to the VISA officer. Can they say that I am sponsoring them although it is not mentioned in the DS 160.

My second query is that I have not taken employment verification letter from my employer. Does it in any way be a disadvantage...

Please guide me in this regard.

Applying.
Hi.
I am eritrean 25, I was studying in PH for 3 years (haven't finished my course) and I've paused my studies for a year to come to ethiopia and attend my uncle's wedding. While staying here I've won a poetry competition and it is being published, the owner of the company have sent an invitation letter. I have my mother's cousin who is will to sponsor me (he Will send me a letter). I can not show ties to ethiopia and I've cancelled my student visa for philippines, and the event is on March 311st (which is 14 days from today). Are my chances low, since I cannot show any bank statments, but I have my certificates from my uni.

I need a brief explanation.
Thank you.
