Visitor's visa my experience and understanding
Hi friends, I have learnt a lot from this forum for the interview. Would like to provide my understanding here.
1. What I have learnt from my successful experience is that each individual has a unique profile. So one must always prepare for the visa interview keeping that in mind. The questions that are likely to be asked to you are based on yourunique profile. Some people's profiles are pretty straight forward and VOs make up their mind pretty fast based on the honesty level you show while answering. For more complicated cases like mine further probing is done to make up their mind.
2. For such complicated cases I feel preparation is the key. A set of likely questions based on your profile would be a great help and here I found the need of a good counsellor who would analyse the profile and prepare you for the likely questions. Fortunately I took the services of visa vikings who prepared me thoroughly for the likely questions to be asked and the documents to carry. A big thanks to visa vikings who helped me in preparing for the visa. After all luck always favors the prepared mind.😀

B2 Visitor Visa
Hi All

I was reading all the experiences and it helped me alot to prepare for the interview.

Background:
Married with 1 kid but family not accompanying. Interview in Abu Dhabi on 10th October.
Me and my family have Canadian PR but we live in UAE for now. I was carrying Canadian PR cards as they normally ask for it as experienced by some of my friends.

I reached 15 minutes before the appointment, there were multiple security checks then I reach the non-immigrant section. First I was called for finger prints and then I got in the que for interview.

I was seeing multiple rejections, I heard one elderly person saying to VO .. "Yes but that's 20 years ago, now things are different. Its my son's graduation and I have to go there to attend it."
But the VO didn't approved his Visa.

then I was looking at one family who was giving the interview for like more than 20-25 minutes. not sure what was the outcome as when I was out, they were still there on the counter.

Here is my interview synopsis:

VO: *smiled and called me to the counter*
        Good Morning Sir
Me: Good Morning

VO: Why you want to visit USA?
Me: Tourism and to visit friends

VO: where do your friends live?
Me: Illinois, Chicago

VO: Is your friend US Citizen?
Me: Yes, He is

VO: What do you do for living?
Me: I am working in finance as a xxxxxxx

VO: your monthly income?
Me: xxxxxxx

VO: are you married?
Me: Yes

VO: will your wife go with you?
Me: No, She'll stay here

VO: Can I see you employer letter and the bank statement
Me: Presented the NOC and the BS, He just had a very brief look.

.. and Boom !, Your Visa is approved, you can collect after 2-3 business days. He typed some thing and kept my passport in a pile of other passports.

it was very smooth and quick. The whole interview took hardly 5 minutes.

I was surprised He din't ask any thing for my Canadian PR or travel history. I was carrying very limited documents besides BS and NOC. did not take any Cover letter etc. Not required at all in my opinion.

Key is,
Just be confident about whatever you say,
Be precise, ans what is asked nothing extra

Rehearse your answers before the interview if required.

All the best to everyone !

B2 visa experience (Dual intent case) Consular office Dhaka, Bangladesh.
B1B2 visa experience Consular office Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I am sharing my case if someone has similar position as mine because what I understand my case is different than others and hope other applicant may get benefited. In some case dual intent visa got rejected and some of us in tense even hving good back ground why the visa is denied.

Short Bio : 18 years of Job experience (14 yrs service 4 yrs entrepreneur) running a trading company.

Dress code : Formal shirts and Pant but w/o tie/suits

Travel Story : Traveled several countries (UK, Australia, Schengen few countries, Brazil, few Asian countries) including visited US 3 times in past within 5 yrs by multiple visa (Visa valid until 2015).

Past Visa Application ;
1st Attempt rejected (2010)
2nd Attempt (2010) Approved 5 yrs, (visited 3 times)
3rd Attempt (2016) rejected with family,
4th Attempts (2018) Approved.

Immigration Petition : Family Immigration Petition Cat F4 pending.

Interview time : 8.30 am and I was on time and saw that there is huge queue inside visa platform. There are 5 interviews windows and see that 90% of the visa got rejected due to several reasons. I was praying that the specific window VO should not take interview for me because during my 20 min observation she did not approve any visa. But finally I hv been asked to follow this VO window by the security.

VO : Come forward

Me : Good Morning
VO : Passport please ( I could barely hear the speaker)
Me : Forwarded the Passport

VO : Why do you want to visit US ( I could barely hear the speaker again so I understand that her microphone has a problem and asked her that I cannot hear anything)
VO : Sorry now its ok ? (she switch on the speaker)
Me : Business Meeting with client and Tourism.

VO : What is the actually your business is ? (Typing )
Me : Explained clearly.

VO: What will be the meeting about? (Typing )
Me : Explained the nature of the business and reason to attend the meeting in person.

VO : How long you are in this business (Typing )
Me : 4 years ( I thought she asked only about the current position)

VO : Only 4 years ?
Me : I mean 4 years in my company but altogether 18 years.

VO : Ok I see, hv you visited US 3 times ? (this is mentioned in the DS160 form)
Me : Yes

VO : Monthly income ? (Typing )
Me : xxx /Month (explained the sources)

VO : Does your wife lives with you here ? (Typing )
Me : Yes with Kids

VO : Is your immigrant visa petition is pending, correct and who applied for you ?
Me : Yes correct and my brother applied for me.

Me : Awaiting for the next question and prepare to show any docs or earlier passports.

VO : Your VISA is approved – and it will take 5 days to collect from VFS. Handover a leaflets mentioned that your visa is approved.

I was not ready for this because she did not ask for any docs, not even see the invitation letter nor earlier visas etc.

I hv got my passport back with 5 years visa within 3 days.

The reason to share my experience because when I got rejected in 3rd attempt even I was traveled US before and learned that if your immigrant visa is pending and you apply any B1B2 visa this is a complicated situation to approve both VISA unless you hv a valid reason or want to go for work.
Also be confident and mention all actual information in the DS 160 which is the key point to approve your visa.

If you are genuine no matter who take your interview he/she must approve your visa.
Hope this may help, good luck.

Can any immigration Lawyer or expert help me and take my case on Humanitarian grounds.
I joined an US MNC in June 2018 and company asked me to come for 3 week training at Illinois , Chicago and I applied for B1/B2 Visa for visiting USA but my visa denied thrice in last 2 months by US Consulate officers without even looking into my genuine documents i.e. offer letter, salary slip, proof of income and property, invitation letter, IT Returns and all the required proofs . Their rejection was just based on assumption and prejudice on arbitrary ground .

At all these occassions , My visa rejected under section 214 { b ] i.e immigration intent whereas my original and genuine intent is only going for 3 week training as asked by my US MNC .

Now as the training is mandatory, my company has given me termination letter yesterday and I am shocked that I am loosing my job which I got through so much effort and multiple skype interviews and I feel that the US Consulate officers at Delhi and Kolkata ( who handled my case ) are responsible for shattering my life.

I am the only earning member of my family and my old parents , my wife and daughter are totally dependent on my income so loosing my job is a major setback for me and my family . You know that how much difficult it is to get a job nowadays and the officers must have acted responsible and should have done complete verification.

I have an excellent academic ( Mechanical engineer from NIT , Bhopal and PGDFM/MBA , MCAD ) and professional and personal background with about 20 years of experience of working in leading Indian organization i.e. Godrej & Boyce, Bajaj Auto, Indian Railways and IFB Industries limited.

I want that any expert or immigration lawyer must come forward and fight my deserving case against this inustice metted to me that is resulting in me loosing my job and my entire future is in delimma.

Tips for young people to get a B2 Visa approved?
Hi,
I was wondering if any of you could help me with your experiences or ideas on how a young person can get a B2 visa approved if they don't have a family- married, with children -and don't own any land/ business.
I am studying at the moment, but also working part-time. My visa got rejected a month ago because of not sufficient ties with the home country. The only purpose of my visit was for tourism, but I also said that if I was given the chance I would have liked to see a friend I had met online. I am not sure if this played against my chances of getting a visa.
If other people had/ have the same experience as me and they managed to solve it, I would love to hear their tips on overcoming this problem.

Thank you very much.

Seated @ semi open air lounge for 5 minutes and all were directed to different counters for interview.

I was given to queue @ Counter number 13: ( No documents asked for )

GRANDAUGHTER APPLYING FOR GRANDMOTHER AND UNCLE
Hi. I want my grandmother (mothers mom) and uncle (mothers brother) to apply for the B2 visa to come visit us in NYC from Bangladesh. What do you think the chances will be for them to get it? I know my mom can apply for her mother to come stay here permanently but that process can take awhile. I'm 25 and i came to NYC when i was 2. My uncle has a tuition business back in his country and a wife so he has all the reasons to go back home and not stay in NYC for too long. I really have high hopes they'll get approved as long as my uncle stays confident in the interview. BTW he is in his 30s. Also both have no travel history. So I don't know if that will be a huge factor. Also my mother is sick so my uncle can just simply say his coming to NYC with his mom to visit his sisters family and for tourism and he'll go back to Bangladesh asap because his business and wife is there. Hope you guys can give me any extra tips before we start the application. Thanks
