I work in EVVC model and have been working in the US over the past 10 years, the VO asked regular questions about my masters and my employer, she asked for a client letter and I told her it is against the client's policy and I have an email from my manager stating the same, she took my vendor letter/pay stubs/w2's/lca/I-129 and said she needs to validate and will need some time and asked me to wait for some more time, I waited for about 30-45 mins and was called again, the VO said unfortunately we will need more details to process this and handed me a white slip requesting for Client letter,Contracts between the vendors and the end client and a complete itinerary of services or engagements.
I submitted all of the documents minus the client letter ( attached the client email ), this uncertainty is really killing me, I have never been much of a poster, but i see the value in this now atleast for the sake of others. Will update this when the case is updated any further.

28 Feb: Received email to submit passport
1 March: Submitted passports at VAC delhi, got acknowledgment slip
7 March: No updates on dates or status.
11 March: No updates on dates or status Still AP
I dont know what is happening. Any ideas are appreciated.
Went to temple to pray to god.
13 March: PP status changed from "delivered to post" to "There is no status available". No updates on CEAC. Last update date 13 Feb, status AP
14 Mar: Date changed on CEAC, status AP
15 Mar: Issued :), date also changed on CEAC
19 Mar: PP collected.
I hope everyone gets it soon. Its a total nightmare.

Hi All,
I gave visa interview on 12th at Delhi consulate and this was my first H1 ( Fresh H1). I was in the USA on F1 visa and came here for my H1B visa stamping. VO return my passport after the interview and request me to submit documents mentioned in the Blue slip.
Status got updated after sending the documents but I don’t know how long does this gonna take? I’m so worried. Can anyone please tell me how long the entire process takes? I work full time and there’s no laters in between. My client has sent all the requested documents immediately.
Consulate gonna send update to me directly or they gonna send update to my Employer directly? Please advise.

1) Got Blue Slip - Asked to submit MSA and Client letter. - 01/07/2019
2) HR responded immediately within three days. - 01/10/2019.
3) Client received enquiry email - 02/07/2019.
4) Waiting for approval.
I was able to see on that day that all got blueslip and only few family cases was approved.

2nd Update:
1) It took almost close to 60 days. They sent email asking to submit the passport.
2) No update on the website.
3) Submitted passport and they gave a receipt.
4) It took 5 days, 5th day around 3pm they sent email asking to collect the document.
5) Collected it next day.

Hello Everyone, i appeared for interview on 8th Nov. I am working in VC model. I answered all question asked in interview but still they gave me white slip with below documents :-
1) Client letter
2) Complete petition
3) All Previous Employer Details
i have submitted all document on 11/15/2018 but after that there is no update at all and no one reached to my client,Employer or previous Employer. Is there is someone in same boat.
just now status got updated with last update date 02/06/2019. Status is still AP.
Emailed to support-india@ustravel but did not get any reply. when i called help desk they told me my case has been escalated to US Embassy as this has been completed more than 90 days.
client verification was done on 02/25, nothing updated after that.
Just got an email to submit my passport.
Passport submitted to New Delhi VFS center on 03/14.
status changed to issued on 03/19.
Passport will be received tomorrow. Best of luck to ALL.

Change of Status from F1 to H1B , VO asked basic questions , answered all but issued me a 221(g) Blue Slip , refusal for administrative processing and said it should not take more time.
Also, the VO wrote down a case number which shows Invalid even till today. and the status on ustravel docs site shows as " Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate "
What can I expect ?

15th March, 2019 - Status changed from "Administrative Processing" to "Issued"
Now waiting to collect passport

Attended interview at Chennai emabassy on 12/17/2018.
Asked for client letter, gave client letter on normal A4 white paper, but the interview asked for letter with client letter head.
Gave Blue slip and asked me or my employer to email client letter to ChennaiH&[email protected].
My employer emailed the client letter with letter head.
As of 12/25/2018, no response email from ChennaiH&[email protected].
When I am trying to search my case # online at https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/, system says, 'Your search did not return any data.'
Anyone when can we see case status at https://ceac.state.gov/ceac?
They contacted my end client on March 4th
End client replied to them as on March 6th
Got email from Chennai USCIS
"You must appear for an INTERVIEW with a consular officer on any Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Please bring this letter and passport & dependents passports with you to the interview. Do not make a new appointment. You will be required to the pay the reciprocity fees"

I was asked for Client letter,797,129,Petitioner's 2 years tax returns,all employees details.I said I have most of the docs but was told that back office needs soft copy.
No update yet,going to Delhi office was like a sin committed.
Case updated first time from 11/8/2018 to 2/22/2019.
Client contacted after 4 months on 2/27/2019 and they replied the same day.
Still suffering as no update after that.
