Attended interview at Hyd consulate on 3/20/2018 and VO mentioned approved and took our passports, next day I received email that my visa has been put in 221g and requested resume and other details and our passports were returned to VFS with a white slip.sent the requested details in email.
received a 221g again asking to fill up DS5535. Submitted the questionnaire including DS5535 on 3/25 and received confirmation email on 3/26 that information has been received however date has not changed since 3/21/2018.

HI Everyone,
I am F1 student who completed 5 years and H1-b is issued in October. Worked on H1-b for 3 months till December and came to India for vacation. Went for H1-b Stamping in Delhi and i was asked basic questions like, which employer? which client? whats your pay? did you study in us? after this VO said we need to verify few documents send electronically and handed my passport to me. I tried submitting documents it never went to them i dont know if its my employer network problem or theirs finally it reached on 14th and there is no update.
Still case is under administrative processing. Can anyone let me know approx by when can i expect a passport submission date and stamped passport. Any kind of inputs will be greatly appreciated.

In the end he gave me my passport and i797 and said "please submit a few documents so that we can process your case faster" and sent me to another counter.
At the other counter, I was given a white slip and they ticked all the boxes and they collected my passport
Anyways submitted by documents and now waiting.

Waiting for email to collect passport. Thiis is my 2nd 221g. First one (2015) was for F-1. it took 21 days. This one (h1b) took 49 days. I was asked the same set of docs for both.
