20 Feb 2019 - VAC Biometrics
21 Feb 2019 - Interview at Mumbai Consulate. I had visited Yemen in 2005 and Iraq in 2016 and this raised some questions during the interview. I answered with confidence and truthfully that the visits were for Pilgrimage. Consular told me that he is approving my visa but it will take some time and kept my passports.
23 Feb 2019 - I got a call from BlueDart to come and collect the passports. When I opened the envelope I found the passport without Visa and a green 221g slip. It was mentioned in the slip that I will be contacted via email. Case Last Updated date was 21st Feb with status as Administrative Processing.
4 Mar 2019 - I got an email from ustraveldocs.com asking me to submit the passports .
6 Mar 2019 - I submitted my passports to Mumbai VAC.
7 Mar 2019 - Case updated but status still Administrative Processing
8 Mar 2019 - Case updated and status changed to "Issued"
11 Mar 2019 - Passport with Visa stamped received at Nagpur Delivery Location

Hello, I am from Materials Science and it comes under TAL.i attended the interview on 01/15 and I was given a different type of blue slip which asked for docs such as resume, an invitation letter from the employer, research, publications, last 10 years of travel history. I work as FTE with a company for the last 3.5 years and first time stamping from H1. I do not have any research or publications but had done a thesis during masters as a part of the curriculum which is not even related to work
I submitted the docs on 01/17 and just got an automated email stating thank you. has anyone else got such slip? Please advise. what is the wait time for such slip

02/15: No update yet. Expected a reply till now.
02/19: No update yet. no change in status
02/22: Asked to submit passport.
02/25: Submitted passport, Waiting for visa issuance

Nov 1st: Biometrics at Chennai VAC
Nov 2nd:
- Attended H1 Interview for self & H4 for wife & kid
- Questions abt Petitioner, Client, Job Loc, Emp or Client Loc, Salary, Job duties etc
- Asked if I had a client letter which I didn't have but provided an exhibit from MSA which indicated the contractual relationship
- VO gave us the rights pamphlet but then provided us yellow slip and asked to be wait until called back
- Was called after 45 mins to the same window and was given 221(g) with no documents requested and asked us to wait until we receive an email from the consulate
Jan 25th: 12 weeks. Sill in AP.
Feb 22nd: 16 weeks . Still in AP. Same state.
March 8th: 18 weeks - Got an email from consulate that my petition is being sent back to USCIS for review. Not sure whats the cause.
Fingers crossed - God knows what the outcome is. Keep me in your prayer guys!!
