6-Sep- Interview Done at Mumbai Consulate, VO asked for I-197 and generic question pertaining to L1A while continuously typing, Then went inside and came and ask 1 more question and then came back and ask 2 more questions and then. Handed over Yellow slip and with all ticked items from petitioner and told send this on following mail id,Was amused as some of the items were there with me already in hand but no point arguing hence came back enjoying the destiny
9- Oct-18- Submitted all the documents, it was more than 5MB limit hence submitted via 2 different mails.
1-Nov- 18- Client was contacted asking them to confirm on letter
10-Nov-18- Client replied to USCIS.
27-Nov-18- Received a mail from Embassy asking to Submit Passport and other documents
28-Nov 18- Submitted Passport at VFS Collection Center
29-Nov-18- Status changed for first time from Initial status
30-Nov-18 Status changed to issued

Working as an FTE. Came here for change of status from F1 to H1B. VO asked me who the petitioner was, my salary and my highest qualification and my grad school and started writing the case # on the blue slip even before asking who the petitioner was. He told me that my application requires administrative processing and that it was very common and I shouldn't worry. He asked me to wait for 1-2 weeks for it to clear and to keep checking the case status. When I mentioned that I had a return flight booked for Dec 13th, he said hopefully I should know it in a week. On prodding further as to why it might have gone into administrative processing, he said it is common among returning students, could be some SEVIS ID misrepresentation or could be something else. Didn't provide a definitive answer. Didn't ask for any further documents and retained my passport pasting a yellow sticky note on it.

I have attended my H1B interview on Dec 05 at Hyderabad Consulate. VO asked few generic questions about my time with employer and Masters degree and university. Then issued a 221G white slip with option "You will receive further instructions at the email you provided in your application......" checked. He took my passport.
I am currently waiting to see update on the CEACstattracker page.
If anyone of you are in a similar situation do let me know and if approved let me know the time taken.

I had the interview on aug 21st, got the green slip, submitted docs within 2 days, still waiting for approval. VO only asked if I had a degree in chem engg. and gave me the green slip. its been close to 12 weeks now. Is this kind of delay normal? Should I be taking any steps? or just wait?
This is second renewal. Green slip had exact same questions as that asked last time. Answered exactly the same response as nothing has changed. Still they are taking so long to review. Its been 12 weeks now from the date of interview.
Nov 8 attorney sent an email to US consulate to check the status. Online status showing admin processing
Nov 28 consulate replies to attorney saying applicant was sent an email to submit passport on nov 8. Online status still unchanged
Never received any email or sms to submit passport
Nov 29 submitted passport
Nov 30 - status date updated but still showing admin processing
Dec 3 - status changed to issued.Finally collected stamped passport.

I have submitted my passport at New Delhi VFS on 9th Oct . Got 221g white slip for attending interview on 15th of Oct. Attended interview on 16th Oct. VO asked basic questions and then gave me a white slip and asked to provide Client letter, I-129 copy and itenary of work. I emailed documents on 18th of Oct.
They did client verification on 25th of Oct.
On 9th of November I got email to submit passport . Submitted passport on 13th of Nov to Calcutta VAC.
Passport reached New Delhi consulate on 14th.
29th Nov my passport status changed in USTRAVEl-Docs to "There's no status update available for the passport number submitted".
29th Nov 5pm Admin processing date Changed
30th Nov status changed to Issued
Collected passport with Stamped Visa on 3rd Dec After noon. Back to US on nexr day!!
Thanks lot to 221g forum. Praying for all who are still stuck.

VO asked me all general questions about designation, salary, company, degree and asked about project. I work on EC model. but, my client is an implementation partner to several clients. So, VO asked me who is my end client. I mentioned the client whom i am working for.
I asked to wait and called to separate window, there I was asked same question about end client, work location, whom i work for. I was asked to write it as a statement and took sign. again, i waited and same VO issued a 221g with a detailed project description, work status, timeline etc were checked.
2nd 221g, White - Requested a client letter saying i have vacancy and work, client name duration etc. Provided.
3rd 221g, White - Requested the same client letter and asking contracts between client & end client( Principal payor ).
