221(G) Tracker

Hi all, This is for 1st time h1 stamping and I had an in person interview in Delhi. VO said visa approved and no slips were given. I did not get any emails asking for more details either. The case remains refused from the date of interview Today (04/30) I got my passport back with no stamp but a yellow slip. It only says administrative processing and no documents specified. Has anyone come across this scenario?? Appreciate any leads TIA

I submitted the requested documents like travel history, research, publications... etc on 2 March 2021. It took 51 days (37 business days) before the last case update date changed. Case status updates: February 25 - April 21 : Refused April 22 : Administrative Processing April 23 : Application Received April 23 : Administrative Processing ( the status changed on the same day ) April 26: Issued

Visa officer asked the following questions on 02/23/21 during my interview: -What is your position? -Where were you in June 2020? -What is your highest degree? -Subject of the highest degree? (My response "3D printing" triggered a Technology Alert List hit) -What substances do you print? Metals, carbon fiber, boron, ceramics etc. etc.? -What other technologies are you involved in? -Asked me for right hand fingerprints -Handed me a blue slip and told me my visa is on 221g hold Submitted all blue slip docs on 02/25/21. Since then the status on CEAC was "Refused." Received email to submit PP on 04/15, exactly after 7 weeks. Documents asked during PP submission in the email were PP, 797 and printed email. At the local visa center they additionally asked for the original 221g blue slip and position confirmation letter, so please carry all docs with you. CEAC date changed to 04/19 but still Refused. CEAC date changed to 04/22 and AP. CEAC date changed 04/23 and Issued. Good luck!

H1B extension, eligible for Dropbox, had an OWVI in Jan 2016 3/22/2021: documents submitted at Hyderabad VAC Dropbox (passport, photos, copies of current and former 797, employment verification document) 3/23/2021: CEAC status - Refused 3/24/2021: Asked to appear for interview on April 12 (passport still with consulate) 4/12/2021: Appeared for interview, usual questions on title, firm, location, salary. Then asked to provide court documents from the OWVI case, luckily I was carrying them. The officer said ‘your visa is issued’ 4/12/2021: CEAC status changed to Admin Processing with note if visa was approved it will be available in 2 business days. 4/15/2021: CEAC still admin processing. When I emailed CEAC, they said your visa is refused for admin processing. I’m not sure what is going on since the consulate officer said it was issued. Update: 4/19/2021: the CEAC website tracking shows ‘Issued’!! One step closer, no news yet on when I can pick up passport.

4/12: Case Created 4/19: Refused (Online Status) Yet to receive my passport.

I received 221g pink slip on my visa interview , VO asked me to submit invitation letter , travel history for 10 years, resume, positions. Does anyone know how much time it will take to change of status .

Hi, I attended L1B (blanket) interview in Chennai on February 11th 2021. I was given pink slip and asked to submit Invitation letter, Resume and details of international travel in past 10 years . I have emailed the documents on February 13th, 2021. There is no update after that. The status shows Refused. My status got changed to Administrative Processing on April 7th. Status changed to Application Received on April 12th and again Administrative Processing on April 13th and finally Issued on April 16th.

I had attended H1B interview (first time) in Chennai. Received 221g white slip. Asked for couple of documents - 1) Contract Letter between petitioner and client. 2) Client letter stating there is still a vacancy for me. How much time should one expect to get this resolved once documents are submitted?

Issued a 221g Blue slip for PP10052 in Jan2021. Status is in Refused, should I reapply or wait?

Hello, I attended my H-1B visa interview on Feb 10, 2021, and was given 221g Blue slip requesting documentation on research, publications, travel history etc. I submitted my documents on Feb 17, 2021, and CEAC case still says 'Refused' and hasn't been updated since Feb 10, 2021. I work in Medical Robotics and probably triggered a TAL hit. I had 3 H-1B visas before but was never tagged for 221g but then I never worked in Medical Robotics either. Further, I have an active H-1B visa valid till May 2021 and was not canceled by the VO; I-797 along with my passport were also returned to me. I will post any updates I receive.
