221(G) Tracker

I was asked to provide the client letter with client's letterhead. I was not carrying one, so the officer gave the 221g slip and asked to submit the documents The documents were submitted on 03/11. But due to covid-19 the consulates have stopped processing 221g. Hope to see some updates quickly after lockdown is lifted

Quick summary: I have been working on H1B since 2011 and have I-140 approved (2014). Work at an established software startup in SF, no consulting or services involved. Visa Timeline: Feb 3rd: Submitted Docs and passport for dropbox H1B Visa Feb 8th: Received passport with White slip to appear for an interview Feb 10th: Appeared for an Interview and fingerprinting. General questions regarding my work, location, salary and job duties. Officer gave me 221g Yellow slip to submit docs via email I129 and project/job description. Feb 13: Submitted documents (Documents asked: I 129 petition, LCA, & project description, company info with product details). CEAC status says "Administrative Processing" Mar 5: CEAC status changed to "Refused" in relation to changes done by govt to streamline applications No updates so far from Mumbai consulate and no responses from the email helpline. Would really appreciate if anyone in similar situation can provide updates esp. during COVID19 lockdown

June 12, 2019 - Had my intervew. CO said that my visa is approved and that I can pick up my passport in 3-5 business days. 3 hours after the interview, I received and email to let me answer questions from a DS-5535 form. June 13, 2019 - Sent answers early morning via email. Got automated reply that they have received my answers. Last Updated: 13-Jun-2019 June 14, 2019 - Received update from Consulate that they have released passport to Empost. Last Updated: 13-Jun-2019 June 15, 2019 - Picked up passport in Empost. Passport contains purple slip mentioning it is in AP. Case Last Updated: 13-Jun-2019 March 15, 2020 - Last Updated: 15-Mar-2020 March 16, 2020 - US Consulate sends email that AP is complete. Sent Passport and picture via Empost on same day. March 17, 2020 - US Consulate received passport. March 18, 2020 - Last Updated: 18-Mar-2020 March 23, 2020 - Last Updated: 23-Mar-2020 March 26, 2020 - Last Updated: 26-Mar-2020 | Status: Issued 10 years validity

My company and client submitted all the documents asked in 221g on 13th March. There is no update after that. I guess there will be no update unless Embassy reopens after this Coronvirus Pandemic slows down. Anyone else in same boat?

I have attended visa interview on 11th of February 2020 and I've been asked formal questions about my salary, areas that I'm working on for the client and VO took Client letter, Prime Vendor and Implementation partner letters and VO gave 221 G to me requesting for some documents which my attorney has responded in a week. But we are not seeing any update until now anyone on the same boat? 03/11 - Client Verification email received. 03/26 - Client responded back.

15th Nov_2019:- Appeared for an Interview. Officer gave me 221g yellow slip to email some documents from employer 22nd nov_2019- Submitted documents Documents asked: I 129 petition, LCA, a copy of the employment contract or letter of agreement signed by you and petitioner,End client letter, project description, iernary for project (that specifies dates and address of the actual employers). Feb 27th 2020:-Got an email, my case Mumbai consulate return to USCIS Kentucky consular center for additional review of my case. March 3rd 2020- Ceac status changed from administrative processing to Refused. Email to Embassy, waiting for reply. March 25th: USCIS case status changed to "Department of State Sent Case to USCIS For Review On March 25, 2020, the Department of State sent us your case, Receipt Number EACXXXXXX, for review.
